      @@markphilipp224 Whether you should get into blindfold stuff depends more on memory, board vision and direct calculation skills than just rating.

    In the lounge at my workplace we had a chess set and a go set; the chess set disappeared so sometimes when we wanted to play chess we would try playing with go pieces!

      I'm a 1900 rated player and blindfold isn't too terrible. I have also played 2 at a time blindfold without too much trouble, but both opponents were under 1000 elo so your results may vary. It's fun! Try it out!

    Reminds me of Reversi (aka Othello). It's kind of fun to scroll to the middle game and try to figure out what circle is what piece.

    "Who would be winning if this were go?" @ 2:53 probably you get the sequence Bb4 e5 c5 f5 g4 g5 g6 h4 h3 g2 h4 f4 h6 a4 a5 a3 b3 and white has 28 points, black has 36 points*, so B+8
    *for go players: these are Japanese "points" with Chinese style area counting, i.e. this is B+4子 with no komi

    As a go player: If there is no Komi and black to move at 2:46 then black is winning. With Komi it depends on how much Komi white gets. Though playing on an 8x8 board and on the fields instead of the intersections does feel weird/wrong. If you ever feel like taking a look at Go again feel free to PM me. I do remember you trying it out on stream like 1-3 years ago with another beginner and both of you had trouble with the rules. If you get a bit of a more advanced player (single digit kyu or maybe even dan) you might get to know a bit more about some basic concepts as well.
