DC should take notes.

I haven't watched any animated Marvel movie in a long time, but I think the closest we got with the blood and violence and were the Hulk Vs movies, and Planet Hulk.
And comics and video games
Marvel has the title for live action movies, but DC has got it in the animation department.

In series, animated series and video games, DC has the upper hand

DC animation is on point, rarely disappointed

Even being a marvel fan I feel it's true
it was sort of an easter egg from teen titans
We should get a crossover movie of justice league and Avengers because in comics it was awesome

Finally, DCAU is getting recognized.
Edit: DCAMU
The DCAU always got recognition. I think you mean the DCAMU.
Deadpoolrockz6 wait what does DCAU mean.
Yeah i say this cuz, not many people know about any of the animated movies
DreSaidSo well I don’t know anyone who does
@@kegtuwa the DCAU is the DC Animated Universe, which is composed of animated series like Batman The Animated Series, Superman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Static Shock and Justice League Unlimited. The DCAMU is the DC animated Movie Universe which is comprised of direct DVD animated films like Son of Batman, Justice League Dark, Teen Titans: Judas Contract, Death of Superman and Justice League Dark: Apokalips War.
My favorite out of this list is Justice League: Doom. Don't mess with Batman.
Absolutely love that one. I was so on Bats side
It was the Movie that made me see Batman as the most Badass Hero of all time
Dude I wish to see that film can anyone sent a link to watch it or download it
I love Justice League: Doom because it's a great movie and it has the original cast from the JLU series I watched as a kid ❤
@@najilabduljaleel5287 ummm.... I know they have it on HBO Max, watched it yesterday. In fact HBO Max has a handful of the movies mentioned here and more
The ralationship between Damian Wayne and Raven is the best thing these movies done with the introduction of John Constantine.
Damian Wayne, Ravan and John Constantine are the best characters of the new 52
I hope they don't turn into trash in future movies since they pressed the "Reset button "especially the Ravan -Damien relationship, I don't know why but that relationship just makes sense to me
Let's hope they continue these relationships in the future
Agreed!
They will. They’ve even given off hints to it recently. People suspect we’ll see them in whatever the future DCAMU is, Young Justice posssibly, and even in comics someday.
i agree with you. Damian and Raven's relationship is the best thing that happened in DCAMU. i hope they didn't screw it up.
Let's be honest, JL Dark Apocalypse War was soooooooooo goooooooood, it blew my mind.
Honestly I have to disagree

Captain boomerang is a boomerang
They probably saw Assault on Arkham Abridged.

Too dark, way too dark
And King Shark is Constantine's ex.
I remember when *Damian Wayne* was one of the most hated characters. Especially when it came to the *Robin* comparisons. Now dude is who most people want to see in action lol

The live action DC crew need to hire the writers from the DCAMU. They did basically the same stories, except 100% better.
They should make a movie about The Outlaws, or even Batman Zur-En-Arrh.

JLvsTT got me back into the DC fandom and Apokolips War solidified it. The best part was seeing Damian’s development and my favorite Titan Raven; their relationship was so unexpected but they have mad chemistry! DC please keep their relationship alive in whatever you plan next!!
I know it was not a perfect movie by any margin, but still Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will hold a special place in my heart forever!❤️
Offcourse it is an amazing movie in every way ..it's second to none
I was shocked seeing so many hero's being killed and in such brutal fashion.
I enjoy because finally the hero’s don’t win but flashpoint will always be my favorite
Apokolips War was shocking and hardcore, and it certainly captured the feel of the 2000's crisis books. But the problem with those was that it felt cheapened and left you with nowhere to go. They threw away too many characters for shock value, which I guess is the advantage of knowing you're going to reboot the franchise, but it was so unsatisfying. Several characters died without ever resolving their character arcs, and quite a few without even BEGINNING their character arcs. Aquaman got a whole movie, then never appeared again before getting killed in the first few minutes. Green Lantern and the Corps also died without ever being any kind of driving force in the series. Superboy and Steel got one movie before getting killed unceremoniously, where did their character arcs go? Nowhere! Batgirl was a cameo in all three of her DCAU appearances before she was torn apart by Paradoomers, and I wasn't even sure if she got a speaking role. And I know that Wonder Girl never got a speaking role before her death, even though Wonder Woman got her own movie just before this happened. It just feels like so much wasted potential in the name of wiping the slate, they indulged in shock value just because they could get away with it by virtue of another Flashpoint reboot. It's a depressing commentary on the state of comics these days, nothing is allowed to stick.
It was clearly a number one it was so crazy and intense, no animated movie like it. It also ended perfectly with flash on his way to change everything
The New DCAU really love the Damien and Raven couple. They really did feel fleshed out wished they would make more movies with them sucks its rebooted though.
In detriment to other characters. lol
We’ll probably get more. DamiRae has built up quite the following.
It was okay but we know DC will always choose Raven and Beast Boy since there more complex than Raven and Damian
It's a pity they didn't flesh out the relationship first though... but thats what Judas Contract cost.
@@ethanmandengue3870 DC rebirth sucks
The Apocalypse War was one hell of a movie.
The only anime that moved me in such a heart-breaking manner was Akame Ga Kill.
Because in both movies, EVERYBODY DIES!
Justice League Dark Apokolips War was always be my favourite. The story and fight scene was so badass.
What i most likely is when DCMU finally do a love interest between Damien Wayne (Robin) and Raven.
Like me if someone agree with me.
I wish they had more budget and more runtime! I wouldn't mind watching it for 2-3 hours of it!
I would have liked it better if it was an ALTERNATE universe instead of the Finale of an ongoing universe. It almost ruined the whole DCAMU for me!
Honorable mentions - Death of Superman, Teen Titans The Judas Contract
And u can add some more cause these were on the top of my head
* The Death and Return of Superman
They did a release that combined both into one near 3 hour movie.
And I liked Judas Contract better than JL vs TT.
To be fair, JC isn’t a Justice League movie. But it’s up there in the top DCAMU films.
This is a list I wasn't waiting to see, but am pleasantly surprised was made! I'm a sucker for the DCAU and have seen all films produced. I personally would have placed Apokolips War at #1 and Flashpoint Paradox at #2, but hey, still an agreeable placement.
The one thing I enjoyed most of all about the DCAU was their progressive foray into violence. The first films, while filled with action were geared towards a younger audience; perhaps a throwback to the Super Friends series from the 70s. With the FP movie as a turning point, every subsequent entry became darker and darker, with villains resorting to murder tactics as part of their ploys; perhaps reaching a pinnacle with Constantine: City of Demons (I mean c'mon, real demons trying to make a branch of Hell in Los Angeles). I felt Apokolips War brought a bitter-sweet ending to the DCAU, especially with the Raven-Robin story arc.
I hope WB continues to make great movies and perhaps focus on another continuity with the Justice League, since they have material to spare in that regard.
KING SHARK IS A SHARK!
Even though its not a justice league film Batman: Death of the Family and Joker: Endgame should be adapted. Also the Supersons would be a good spinoff film for Damien and Johnathan.
@みやぞのさくら no I'm talking about the storyline death of the family. It's a new 52 comic about joker trying to make the whole batfamily take each other out due to him thinking batman has become weak relying on them too much, not one about Death IN the family where it's the follow up to Jason Todd's death.
The fact that Justice League Dark: Apokalips War turned one of JL and TT’s biggest threats for the longest time (Trigon) into a character you can actively root for, says a lot about this movie. I LOVED that Trigon actually helped his daughter and let her be free and gave Darkseid the work👊. Darkseid is gonna be catching demon hands for all eternity😂😂🤣
THIS VID SHOULD'VE BEEN MADE ALONG TIME AGO THE DCAU NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION

I think they only want to make this video after the end of DCAU so they can include the Apokolips War... If they had made this video before 2020, then the Apokolips War would not appear on the list. 👍

The Justice League is so fascinating because each of its members is unique and different from each other, yet puts their differences aside to work for a greater goal. None of the members lose their individuality, creating a layered and intriguing dynamic that fans love.
It’s a shame that the DCAMU is over now they easily could have fit in a few more movies.

And Apokolips War was the REAL Killing Joke.
I feel like the only one that still likes TT VS JL I like that it's on the list and watched throne of Atlantis all the time when I was younger. New Frontier was the first justice league movie I ever saw and Flashpoint Paradox is still the best with JL Doom close second

I'll say one thing about the DC Animated Original Movie Universe: they're still better than Zack Snyder's Justice League.
Anyway, here are some Justice League stories that should be adapted into an animated film:
1) Justice League: Kingdom Come
2) Justice League: Trinity War (of course, instead of the Crime Syndicate of Earth 3, someone worse shows up near the end - The Batman who Laughs)
3) Justice League: The Dark Multiverse Saga
How can you say if snyder cut is not released yet
@@yatharthtomar289 I was referring to the 2017 theatrical cut not the extended cut that will show on HBO Max (sadly I don't think it'll be much better...)
@@mingchoi8369 To be fair the theatrical one was not Snyder’s. It was Joss Whedon’s. The one that was just released was the Snyder cut and tbh, the ONLY thing I liked from Whedon’s version was when Superman was choking out Batman and said “You won’t let me live, you won’t let me die. So tell me, do you bleed?” Sent chills down my arms. Everything else that was reshot was garbage. Should’ve left it the way it was because I was thoroughly impressed with Snyder’s version and prefer it much more
@@leilanilopez2565 In my defense, I wasn't exactly aware of how much of the film Whedon reshot at the time. I mean, I feel that a director shold bear responsibility for a bad film, but after hearing more about the troubled circumstances regarding that film, I can't really hold Snyder responsible for how bad the film was.
I have no doubt the Snyder Cut is an improvement over what we got, but in any case, I think the 2017 Justice League film has been permanently tainted both by the troubled production and certain unpleasant allegations against Whedon that emerged soon after.
I was sure Damian was going to say no am a wayne
Considering that they were talking about heritage, it would be better of he said Wayne. A little mistake.
I was expecting that too guys too bad Damian really don't respect his own Dad
DamiRae made some of these films for me. I know DC will carry Damian Wayne and Raven on, I just seriously hope it’s soon!
all we can do is hope, but seriously it’d be a shame for DC to ignore how many people see their potential as a badass couple
Death of Superman is one of my top movies. There were so many good moments; character building for superman, etc
My favorite was Justice League Dark. There was soo much involved and it was nice to see Constantine in on the action.
Man, even the thought of The Batman Who Laughs movie in the future
Still hoping they will adapt Blackest night or Sinestro Corps war into an animated movie
I think I heard the next injustice game will be blackest night
JLD is a bit of a weird movie for me, mostly because of Batman's presence, since he as no real reason to be there other than he wants to be there (and be our way in). Especially when he in the beginning dismisses the supernatural's existence... when he's talking to Wonder Woman and after Trigon had stomped through Kandaq.
The DC Animated Movie Universe will be forever remembered as a testament to the power of animation and the enduring legacy of these iconic superheroes.
Personally I loved Justice League vs. The Fatal Five.
Minus the entire Green Lantern Corps, except for Jessica (and maybe the other Earth Lanterns), being utterly slaughtered; so did I.
I loved how Jessica was portrayed in that movie
Apokolips War is above Crisis on Two Earths...
... *smirks* It doesn’t matter. *blows up planet*
"It doesn't matter."
My favorite was death of superman. I think it had the best portrayal of Doomsday with him not just beating down Superman but the entire Justice League
When I got HBO Max I watched all the films in the New 52 timeline, starting with Flashpoint Paradox and ending with Justice League Dark Apokolips War, amazing storyline throughout many movies
Darkseid really messed up the Justice League badly in Dark Apokolips War.
Imagine if this was live action
I just want to see a complete live action justice league story in live action. I just want to see that before I die.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War would been my number 1 cause they don't hold back at all hero died left and right out of nowhere
That and they made alot of ppl do a full 180 on Damian. He went from hating dick to saying he's his brother and trying to use the Lazarus pit on him to revive him
The animated adaptation that everyone wants to see is "Kingdom Come." Adapted from the Graphic Novel by Mark Waid & Alex Ross.
I’d love that, but if Ross himself wasn’t overseeing it
I’d be nervous about a Kingdom Come movie becoming a complete train wreck.
@@cha5 I would only want Alex Ross as the film’s Artistic Consultant. He should at least have a say in terms of the characters’ appearances.
@@cha5 A lot of what made that comic iconic is the art. So they need one hell of an animation style to live up to that.
Backed by great soundtracks, talented voice actors and moving storylines, each Justice League animated film brings something new to the table.
Marvel and DC, both have great animated films. Many live action films have taken inspiration, directly from animation. Flashpoint paradox, of course, Wonder woman, Aquaman, are all amazing! Probably, my favorite would be a justice league movie, set in an alternate universe, in which superman's father was General Zod, wonder woman came from apokolypse, and Batman was an actual vampire.
I think Gods and Monsters doesn't get enough appreciation. I totally loved the new take on the Trinity but the villainous twist at the end of the movie makes it extremely memorable for me.
it was so good, I really couldn’t believe it wasn’t higher up
Everytime I'm shown Justice League Dark Apokalypse War I'm reminded of that particular scene with Mera having her head pierced with Paradoom's nails and as I rewatched it, the though of running continuously for two years, nonstop, to fuel a bad guy's army.
Also, I'm glad War, Doom and Crisis on Two Earths made this list.
The one burned into my head is when the Paradoom ripped off Diana’s arm. I have no idea why but that one lives in my head rent free
@@leilanilopez2565 It's horrifying.
Apocalypse War is my favorite!
Raven is the best DC character after batman in my opinion
Agree! Batman is on top, raven top second!
This list is perfect..Flashpoint paradox is a masterpiece..Every one in there was on Demon Time
Cyborg's origin was rewritten to be the result of Victor Stone merging with a Mother Box. Cyborg had one of the more consistent arcs across the DC Animated Movie Universe, accepting his transformation and ultimately sacrificing himself to destroy Apokolips, which is fitting that he had the same actor throughout, Shemar Moore.
I really liked Crisis On Two Earths as a kid.
But I also liked how Superwoman was dominating and having her way with Batman.
Honestly, Under the Red Hood and The Killing Joke should at least be an honorable mention
This is a list about the Justice League animated movies. Under the Red Hood and The Killing Joke are Batman movies.
Justice League: The New Frontier is an exciting and well-told Elseworlds story that allows every hero to shine on their own merits. When the Justice League finally does come together, the film eventually shows just how important and inspiring this particular group of heroes can really be.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox succeeds in giving us everything an animated adventure needs and so much more with its sophisticated storytelling.
Justice League: Doom is my favorite. Just love the animation style (same as Young Justice season 1) very clean, simple story. Got Conroy as Batman, nice set of bad guys. Very fun and simple.
Justice League: Gods and Monsters deserves a place on this list just for its Superman teaser, I had to rewatch it a couple times because it hit me so hard
And frankly this is my favorite incarnation of Superman
I think Justice League Dark Apokolips War was the endgame for Justice League animated movies
The cybernetically enhanced hero has many different voice actors over his time in animation, but Michael Bakari Jordan has became a household name so his performance stood out providing a darker and layered look at a conflicted post-apocalyptic version of Cyborg.
When Batman carried a gun that was a scary site to see.
There is no denying the impact Flashpoint had on the continuity of its characters. Seeing the Flashpoint Paradox adapted as a film is a DC lover's dream come true, and its engaging plot makes it a must-see for any superhero fan.
This is a good Top 10, especially with Zack Snyder's "Justice League" on the horizon.
What makes you think its going to be as good as those.. Some of those were produced and written by Bruce Timm and Dwayne Mcduffie the geniuses behind Batman TAS (with Paul Dini) and JL TV series aka the greatest JL adaptations of all time
@@wrestlinganime4life288 the film that was released wasn’t Zack Snyder’s original vision. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is ultimately anchored by great vocal performances and a fun art style that is easy on the eyes, which is fascinating to see alternate versions of the heroes, and they represent a serious challenge to the real Justice League of America.
Kevin Conroy played a big part as the voice of Bruce Wayne in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox when Barry Allen approached him at the end and offered him something from his alternate Earth's father, a touching end to the movie.
If all animated Justice League are this awesome, now imagine how great Zack Snyder's Justice League going to be 😍😍😍😍

Each of the animated flick had the right tune.

Almost all of DCAMU movies stick true to the characters, superman is hope, batman don't kill, these movies have heart. And they aren't filled with super boring slow mo scenes. Snyder is Michael Bay of comic book movies, except his movies aren't half as successful as bay's movies

THIS VID SHOULD'VE BEEN MADE ALONG TIME AGO THE DCAU NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION
The Justice League has a long history of memorable animated adventure films. Their legendary status in animation was established in the 2000s thanks to the animated series of the same name and its sequel, Justice League Unlimited. Yet from 2007 onwards, the team starred starting in animated films as well. Most of these movies are part of larger connected universes and continuities.
As the beginning of the new DC Animated Movie Universe, the Flashpoint Paradox is a masterclass in setting expectations, serving up a darker and grittier take on a familiar setting and established characters that would continue through several connected properties. In this adaptation of the Flashpoint comic event, several characters and events are changed by the Flash tampering with time.
Still waiting for a sequel to Apokolipse War 😭
Yes
@Arpha Triwattana Hopefully, Flash won't make the same mistake of delivering the Mother Box to that IDIOT Silas Stone, causing him to neglect his son who in turn steals the box not long before it explodes, causing the Idiotic Silas to plant APOKOLIPS TECHNOLOGY in his son to save his son's life, which allowed Darkseid to be able to use him as an eye in the Justice League for who knows HOW long, setting them up for failure from the start!
Really, even though it may see some protest..taking the whole "New 52" overarching story and "Doomsday Clock" arc as a series of movies would be good..oh and "Multiversity"
Featuring Alan Tudyk's cocky Superman and Jason O'Mara's newer take on Batman, Justice League: War is a well-balanced and adult reintroduction to an animated universe many of us were already in love with.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox astoundingly still stands as the crowning glory of the DC Animated Movie Universe as the film brought the Flashpoint comic arc to the screen with utter perfection.
I preferred Damien when he was a brat. He was so brutally honest. Best quote: “Faith is belief based on an absence of data.” JL vs TT movie.
I love this
Under the red hood! Damn it 🏆
One of the most explicit and mature animated stories by DC, Justice League: Gods and Monsters is a violent and sexy tale of the Justice League being framed by an unknown enemy. Struggling with societal acceptance, unchecked power, and a frame job pinning several murders on the members, this version of DC Trinity has extremely different ways of handling issues than the Justice League we know and love.
Great list: that's pretty much my top 10, in slightly different order. My only complaint is how short a lot of these movies are
Wait dark apokalipse is the last one they're making? Seriously?! I wanna see what happens next X*
@JSG STUDIOS aww i don't care about that X< i wanted more in that universe! The ending left off a feeling of relief and dread- as mentioned by the last time Flash created a paradox, who knows what sort of astronomical event could trigger if he changed history as much as he does going back from the final movie :/!
The DCAU is extremely ICONIC
Justice League: War is an immensely fun, compelling and visually spectacular retelling of how the core members of the Justice League came together.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox established a concise and exciting series of movies because this film showcases the popular characters in an entirely unique fashion and embraces a mature sense of violence and gore.
