I'm floored. I love it when Dave sings solo jazz pieces. It speaks of a talent that is 'Godsend'. And I'm glad to see Fonzi on the upright. He's stated in the past that at one time it was his fav. "It's little things that keeps me going"... well said, Dave. More of us than you know can relate to that. Secret: The reason the dream seem so real is because we're actually there. Thanks birderdj for posting this. It's placed as one of my favorites.
Oh Boy! These guys make an AWESOME team. Tim's solo is 'from a higher consciousness'. Thank you Tim for that. I wish this to be on the new album. Please, please please... Little things like this keeps ME going.
I never gave this song any thought, always passed over it...... until now. I hope this makes it onto an album eventually. Would make a great hidden track or B-side.
In Road To Big Whiskey, Dave is in Vegas before a show that night (he talks about getting to soundcheck to Rob). He has a copy of the Super Deluxe package, so we know the album and Little Red Bird were finished. Then he proceeds to record some guitar work for Sugar Will. That strongly points to some sort of release of songs that may be released on an EP.
There's rumors out there on fan sites of a possible EP coming out sometime in the next year. For the most part, its all speculation. There was a certain fan who was told of an eventual EP who was right on a lot of information about Big Whiskey (prior to anyone knowing things) but was also wrong on a bunch of stuff. So who knows. Only time will tell.
Imagine if this woula been on the "new album" instead of shake me. 2006-07 was the year i was a college freshmen and fell in love with this band. Ohhhh what might have been. Too bad it was all downhill from here.
This is why I love the xm station, they play hidden gems like this sometime and boom now it’s one of my favorites
9 months later I just experienced the exact same series of events lol
So touching and passionate! These creative geniuses bring music to such a high level! Love you DMB. Rest in peace Roi
To see LeRoi come in on his sax late in the song, it is hard not to get choked up. This song is gorgeous.
I could never get tired of DMB. Their songs always take me somewhere! True tallent!
I never get tire of this. Perfect voice for a perfect song. Thanks Dave.

I never get tired of this. Dave is a multi-talented bad ass!
So beautiful it fills and breaks my heart simultaneously. ❤
I love this song!! Wish they would studio it and release it. Timmy's solo is sick too.

Damn I love Tim's solo on this. He can can play some straightforward jazz. Good stuff.
simply beautiful
Hell yes - what a concert?!
Love Love Love! Thanks for adding!
Tim at his best... playing beautifully and sensitively.
Well said. Now he just plays as loud as he can.
Beautiful solo
This was such a great night! Miss You Roi :-(
3:49 gets me.... So nuts that this was just a few days before Roi's accident

It is an amazingly tasteful solo
Hahaha. Glad I'm not the only one that shares my same pet peeve...happens @ my home venue to.
dave used to sing part of these lyrics during the opening of two step
Reminds of that new Paul McCartney song, "Valentine". Or at least the feel of it.
cool to see dave on keys, stefan on stand up bass (upright?) and tim on a sweet guitar

no doubt.
Tim's solo makes this song good
I believe Dave started playing piano when he was a kid but then started guitar, anyone know if this is true or not?
Do you guys think this could be on the new album?
Nope, all new songs. Maybe on the EP thats rumored though.
I may be way out of my gourd on this one. Does anybody else hear some Jeff Buckley in this song?
Totally. There’s rumors that this could be on the new album. I hope so, it’d fit the current lineup perfectly!!

Fokis Gaming dive in is like best song on the album
Went downhill way before then. The non-release then re-working of the Lillywhites.

Rashawn at 2:08 looks as if he felt privileged to play on the song lol.
I suddenly understand why they wear black. 😉

Then of course ... the world pulled him down ... crash landing on the ground
Look at that sweat lol
