This is awsom to watch. I WAS gonna ask how my stock ram 1500 4door 2wd would fair and then you basicly answered that befor i finished typing....i wouldnt make it lol.
Oh no!!! At least you can drive knowing you have a good motor. Same thing happened to venture4wd? I know he will probably be buried in that orange jeep 😂
Great video of an awesome adventure with what seems like a great bunch of people. Here in Australia, the last great Landcruiser with the solid front axle was the 105 series. Then ofcourse, we have all the 70 series models with the solid front axle. But the 105 is from the same family as the 80, the wagon style 4wd. The 100 series has independent front, then came the 200 series.
I really messed myself up🤦♀️. I decided it would be a good idea to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Easy peasy. Unless you’re like me and overtighten the bolt and break it off in the block. My mechanicing days are over.
Good morning, I always wondered if my truck would fit in the Ozarks but I already saw that a 350 and a wagoner did hahahahaha incredible. very soon I will join your patreon and I hope very soon to go on a trail with you amazing video
Are you all taking meds to reverse your age? You and your wife look great. I wish you were closer to Pgh. I’m watching your vid for the expo and yall look great. It’s hard to say goodbye to our furry pups that’s past but your new one is the precious. Faithful follower Mid Life Crisis. Luv it.
Glad to see the “stock” Disco made the trek. I’ve armored up an ‘03 like the one in the video to take my wife and toddler on easier routes until I retrofit a CDL and rear locker for tougher trails.
I’m in Canada and can’t see a Patreon looking for your Patreon button but can’t find it to support you. It might have something to do with me being in Canada but have never had a problem supporting anyone in the past. Perhaps you have another way.
Again, not everyone is into stupid rock trails. My Toyota will never be a crawler, I’d rather find a camp spot, get a good hike, do some BC have leg room in the back to sleep. I do feel bad for jeep owners, especially hard top. All that open air and it seems no one ever removes the top.
all 4 of the JKs we had were very reliable as well as our new JL and JTs.We've had far more current gen toyotas break down on the trails than any Jeep. It's all about how well you maintain them.

Another great video Matt! Good to see y’all enjoy a trip together. 👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
I'm really glad to have been part of this adventure 🙂
Thanks Matt😁
Toyota IFS ain’t so bad. That white 80 is iconic and glad to see all brands supporting your channel. Great videos, TY!
Thanks for cleaning the wood, I drove the F350 through the deeper part of the river and up the road. Not your bypass Matt!
15:38 made me laugh so hard. looks like all had a good amount of fun!!!! Hopefully the engine was an easy fix!
Glad to see you liked that. Kid told me to make a big splash so I obliged. LOL
@29:52 look got me rolling lol

Thanks for the weekend in the Ozarks, Matt, David and Brice! Hope to see you at Merus.
Props to the fullsize guys - I have an F250 and a two door JL. I've only dared to take one of those into the wilderness!

Well I’m getting a new motor. It’s on its way right now.

@@WolfOverland probably so.
that was an expensive swim
@@yotagang3705 for sure. But I think it had more to do with wear and tear than the mud hole
Looks like a fun weekend! Minimal damage. Thanks for another great episode
Amazing trail on there!!
Thanks for sharing video^_^

Thank you so much!!!
Looked like a great weekend Matt. Great content.

We were able to get Valarie fixed up so she could make it back to Texas.😊
What did it end up being?

@@LostThymeOverlandAdventures OH NO!!!!
@@LostThymeOverlandAdventures do you know I’ve never messed that up myself… do you also know I’ve never replaced that part!!!! 😂 at least you tried!!
Fantastic 😊
I'm going to make 1 of these events. Looked like a good time
Cool to see a WJ in there!
I really enjoy your videos. I live in DFW and would like to try to do some of these trails.
Love the content I'd love join yall one Day.
Some of them trails are pretty tight. I've got door ripples in my 87 Burb to prove that. ha ha
🔥🔥 would love to adventure with yall
All that new sensors stuff is exactly why i bought a 1974 jeep CJ5 base model.
Soo awesome video
Thank you so much
80s are the best

Good job on clearing the trail guys! I saw a video last week at that crossing and they just drove by. Looks like an amazing time was had by all.
I see a Cades cove Jeep outpost shirt! My neck of the woods! Nice vidja keep them coming!

Looks like fun times.
16:45 Did y’all stop at geocache box 11?
Been on OOAT twice in my Ram 1500, was looking forward to seeing that red one on some trails.
The red one was a daily driver on street tires and he didn't want to mess it up.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures understandable, mines a daily as well but on 35s and I should probably have this approach more often then I do.
Do you have these routes pre-tracked already avaliable in your pateron?
Definitely

Are you still using the ikamper BDV and if so how’s it holding up?
Hi Matt,we watched the video before this one and you had a red gladiator now you're back in the Blue gladiator what gives??
Do you share the gpx tracks for this? I recognize a ton of it, but what I don’t, I want to check it out. Great video!
all our gps data is available to our patreon supporters. Some of this is on the OOAT.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures awesome thank you!
How would one be able to join a trip? Which tier would I need to be in to be more specific.
All tiers are invited.
Did you guys see the rainbow?
Was the silver gladiator running 40 inch tires?
Yes
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Nice, they looked good.

Did you guys get her Jeep fixed or was it towed out?
Towed out
Toyota still making lc70 series today, sadly the States refuses them.
Crank position sensors do not like mud or water!
Buddy I never seen your hair all messed up like that! 😂😂
It happens. LOLOL
the last of the great toyotas???? wtf what a hater
😂😂😂

The newer jeeps (JK) are horribly unreliable. As a long time Jeep guy I have moved over to Toyota.
