here's this one thing that comes to my mind rn: i remember as a kid being called i am cute and i always hated it when people used to call me that. now with the context of the enneagram i totally understand it. from the outside i looked innocent, gentle and kind but inside i had lots of ugly emotions. so to my mind i was just wondering how could they ever possibly think i am cute with all this anger and frustration going on. i just figured out recently that i am a type 9 and now i am constantly trying to remember past experiences to reinforce this assumtion that i am a type 9 (i am very sure though that i am type 9 :))
Maybe nines are more tapped into their true self which is the soul and not the human experience. I much rather be meditating and connecting to god all day long. Why? Because it feels soooo damn good.

I didn't develop fully my enneagram type 9 personality because of my bad childhood..
