Thanks for watching. The tires are glued and mounted and the description says Insert Material Open Cell. So I guess there is no foam inserts. The tires are plenty stiff compared to the original Grom tires most likely they are just much thicker compound.
The Groms can get some awesome speed. I just cant seem to be able to hold any RC straight. I'm just no good at speed runs. The Badlands are like magnets on asphalt. It could be that the tires are heavy and just slow the car down so I feel like I'm driving better. lol They should be good for offroad pleasure. Also, your right about lowering the suspension and maybe a front splitter to keep the front end down.
I'm still researching. I need to run the groms on the street some more before I go offroad with them. I wanted to do an upgrade video before I get them dirty. lol Right now I'm looking for a better brushed motor that will work with the stock ESC. The other one will be getting a brushless system specifically designed for the car. No worries my final destination will be off road bashing.
This is a home made stand. I used the Telesin Auto Tracking Tripod Mount that I purchased on Amazon and it has a 1/4-20 mount top and bottom. I just attached it to some plywood and it has enough power for small RC rotation. Here is the like if you want one. www.amazon.com/Tracking-TELESIN-Rotation-Cameraman-Streaming/dp/B08PD266ZQ/ref=asc_df_B08PD266ZQ?mcid=74a768ac83ac34c9838219d4251c2760&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693712892323&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3016484541929479167&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031508&hvtargid=pla-1127908338607&th=1
They are 12mm hex and are a solid rim glued tires. These smaller tires don't come with inserts so your stuck with 12mm. I don't think Proline sales just the tires but I'm not positive.
Thanks for watching. The rims are 12mm hex. They don't have inserts so your stuck with 12mm. I'm not sure if proline offers Trenchers in this size but I actually like the Badlands more. They are both very durable.
Nice video my friend 💯💯💯💯💯💯

@@ramharak100 Sounds like a good plan. I have seen these tires on ebay as well as directly ordering from ProLine.

Thanks for watching. 😁😁✌✌
I put street tires on my typhon grom and it would be a good street racer i just need to lower the suspension some so it will corner better 😎👍

Hey Rc, those knobbies seem pretty "sticky" to pavement. How are they in the sand?
