Aside from the amazing day-bed that Sarah labored over, the phone has me so thrilled! I am astonished that the grandson could ditch that piece of history left by his own kin. Kudos for recognizing an incredible "find" Sarah and for finding the IDEAL tradesman to complete the transformation.
Did I miss where the day bed went to?---I was surprised that the old phone didn't go to Horse!---Well, wasn't Sarah surprised at the forge! Glad it all turned out OK!
1) I am happy that the 'almost antique' field telephone was modernised to be used again, as it would have been a shame if it had been destroyed, to make yet another robot 2) Sara expected too much from Becks and Dave, so I laughed when they had to think of something else to do with the steel - the coasters and bottle openers sold well, so they were a good choice.
Why the comments are so critical? This stuff would have end up in garbage any way. I love creative minds. I am sure that these complainers would do “ better” job.
I don't think Becks and Dave were very creative with the steel bars . I think Sarah could have sent them to someone else who would have done better than they did. Too bad, more money could have been made.c
Disappointing to see mundane items like coasters and bottle openers hand forged from the metal bars - Kevin could have done a lot more! The daybed turned out well, and I've no interest in the phone, although it seemed a lot of technical work was needed for something that looks like old junk.
I'm glad the phone didn't become a robot. But surely there is a museum for this instead of the dump?

What a save on those steel bars, and pretty daring also.
The day bed is just awesome...👌👌

Same. I would have been shocked to pick up coasters & bottle openers though. Sarah did well
@@lindasands1433 Agreed!
$500 dollars for coasters and bottle openers😂😂😂

Kev may have been a better choice for those iron bars.
The phone was great. Would love to buy one.
Should have gotten rid of the old phone cable.
The grandson should have bought the phone
Those were the ugliest coasters and and bottle openers I've ever seen! Lol... I'm amazed they were sold!
This video is about Dire Straits

From shelving unit room divider to coasters and bottle openers, Becks and partner always seem to disappoint 🤦♂️
Horse may have been a better match than Marck for that phone.
