Jon, these Grenadiers look stunning (& cool!) & would certainly stand out on any display or game board. The exceptional standard you consistently achieve with your painting is something else. Hope all is well. Cheers Chris
These minis do look cool, can't wait to see more peninsular french. I'm looking forward to seeing the wonderful job you do on the woodland Indian figures.
Exceptional work again john ,always an enjoyable watch and love seeing your achievement im still plugging away at the italians haha,i try and get some shots of them up at some stage lost 2 weeks wen was sick so just getting back into them
@@burroc5536 I use a thinned down murky wash that was made by Secret Weapon called "Sewer Water" - sadly no longer in production, so I will be mixing my own "home brew" for the next bottle 🙂There are some examples in my earlier videos of how dark the wash goes on before I go back over with base colours and highlights. This video of painting a Wurttemberg artillery crew has a decent example, about six minutes into the video: ua-cam.com/video/LDGYkCMasRc/v-deo.htmlsi=Toxhrk83w54Ylg8h

Wonderful work. Can't wait to see the native Americans. Those sculpts do look good. :)
Thanks 🙂 Yes, the sculptor has a good sense of proportion.
cool
Ta mate 🙂
Everything is extremely smooth. Very nice. When do you blackline the straps, etc? After highlighting or before? Great job.
Thank you kindly. I don't actually blackline, that effect is achieved during the wash stage, which follows blocking in the base colours.
@@JackSargePainting I haven’t been able to achieve that unless you wash it dark and then redo the area around it? I really like the look.
