Another great set of figures there Jon. You set an incredible standard. Particularly like the ‘Rasputin’ looking priest character. His beard is awesome - be good to know how you achieved that look. Also I’ve just painted some resin figures but despite washing them first found them to be quite hydrophobic. How do you prep your resin figures? Thanks for all your videos this year. Have a great Xmas & New Year. Hopefully you’ll find some festive cheer! Looking forward to your videos in 2025.
@ChrisGee-l8n Thank you Chris, very kind of you. The priest's beard was highlighted up from AK Grey Brown plus a wash. I thought it would give a different look rather than a more standard grey. Hmm, interesting about the hydrophobic resin, I haven't encountered that on the 3d printed miniatures, but I do remember it happening on "traditional" resin cast miniatures. I haven't washed resin 3d prints before. I just undercoat with my usual artist's gesso. Thank you for the seasonal salutations. I hope you have a great Christmas too. 🙂👍
Characterful and beautiful Russians, you brought them to life! 👍👍
