    Bugün bize pir geldi
    Gülleri taze geldi
    Önü sıra kamberi
    Aliyyelmurteza geldi
    Eyvallah şahım eyvallah
    Hak la ilahe illallah
    Eyvallah pirim eyvallah
    Adı güzeldir güzel şah
    Ali bizim şahımız
    Kabe kıblegahımız
    Mi'raçtaki Muhammed
    O bizim padişahımız
    Padişahım yaradan
    Okur aktan karadan
    Ben pirimden ayrıldım
    Bin yıl geçti aradan
    Aramı uzattılar
    Yarama tuz bastılar
    Fazlı'dan bir kul geldi
    Bedestanda sattılar
    Sattılar bedestanda
    Ses verir gülistanda
    Muhammed'in hatemi
    Bergüzardır aslanda

Aşık Daimi (d. 1932 - ö. 17 Nisan 1983) 1932 yılında İstanbul'da doğdu aslen Erzincan'ın Tercan ilçesindendir Ali Babaoğullarından Baba daimi I. Dünya Savaşı sıralarında İstanbul'a göç etmiştir. Asıl adı İsmail Aydın’ dır. Her iki dedesinin de saz şairi olmasının etkisiyle küçük yaşta bağlama çalmayı ve aşıklık geleneğini öğrenmiştir. Ancak ilk ustası Aşık Davut Sulari’dir. Yaklaşık 10 yaşında Davut Sulari’nin yanında çıraklığa başlayan Daimi, 2,5 yıl kadar birlikte dolaşarak geleneğe, şiire ve türküye ilişkin bilgisini pekiştirmiştir.
Aşık Daimi, 1950 yılında İstanbul’dan ayrılarak Tercan’a yerleşmiştir.

Agreed, hopefully with the popularity of shows like Ertugrul and Yunus Emre that showcase Sufiism and its luminaries like Ibn Al Arabi we can cast out ignorance and superstition. Spain under the Umayyad Caliphate was way ahead of its time as well. A swirling union of ideas that preceded the European Renaissance by centuries.

The poem itself belong to Shah Ismail I Safavid Shah, he got many poems like this. This is only one of his masterpieces. I commemorate Shah Ismail even today 5 centuries after his death. A mythical figure for us Alevis, and one of seven great poets in Alevism.

    • @antidot556
      @antidot556 3 роки тому +1

@@ahviper5871 Imho, many people asking the same thing, in terms of today he was not that traditional Shia since he was heavily infuenced from Heterodox side of Shia, like one of us he was Alevi at the very beginning. Heterodoxy had a high and visible impact on Turkish communities in 15-16th centuries and Ismail was born into one of these communities. His poetry has more Heterodox components than traditional Jafari school. Ofc, there are narrations that Shah Ismail shifted to Jafari Shia after a while with an influence from Jafari scholars around.

I believe some of the imagery she uses are from the Mosques in Isfahan Iran. Check out the Architectural geometry of the Mosques in Isfahan. A Harvard mathematician traveled there and recognized it as crystalline fractal geometry, something that was thought could only be made by computer recently. Now think about the fact that when these structures were built computers and power tools did not exist. These things are downloads from psychedelic hyperspace or something. Truly remarkable what the human mind and hand are capable of.

today the beloved came to us
      his roses came fresh
      before him, his kamber
      ali el-murteza came
      greetings my king, greetings
the truth, there's no god but allah
      greetings my king, greetings
his name is beautiful, beautiful king
      ali is our king
      kaaba is our holy place
      muhammed in the mi'raj
      he is our great king
      our king, the creator
he reads through white or black
i have been away from my beloved
      it's been a thousand years
(from the description - very beautiful!)

Eyvallah= comes from Allah or God before
Şah= Shah İsmail=The founder and religious leader (alevi) of Safavid Dynasty of Persia= He is Azerbaijani Turk
Pir= leader=Hz Ali= the cousin and son-in-law of Hz Muhammad=the most beloved person after Hz Muhammad among Alevi people.
Eyvallah Şahım= My Shah comes from Allah or God comes before...after my shah
Eyvallah Pir'im = My leader Hz Ali comes from Allah or God comes before....after My leader Hz Ali
It is complicated but 'greetings my king' is just too shallow
