Pigeon Bottle with SS Nipple -
In this video, I explore the world of baby bottles to find the best options for breastfed babies.I know that choosing the right bottle can be overwhelming, especially for breastfeeding moms looking to introduce bottle feeding. As a lactation consultant, I regularly work with families to help them bottle and breastfeed, and through that experience I've discovered which bottles work the best.
From encouraging a latch similar to the breast to reducing nipple preference we'll cover the features that make these bottles stand out. Whether you're a new mom or a seasoned pro, finding the right bottle can make a difference for you and your baby.
Check out the video to discover our top recommendations and make bottle feeding a breeze for you and your little one!
The Medela Calma nipple has been a life saver
What are your thoughts on the Haakaa nipples? I’m glad you mentioned Lansinoh too :)
Not a fan :) it’s flattened and it’s very tall with a strange transition to the base.
What size bottles do you recommend having available for the first couple months? 4oz or 8oz?
4 ounce!
Any thoughts on nanobebe bottles?

What do you think about the boon Nursh nipples? I think they look like Comotomo, but I feel like they have a shorter nipple
I love the idea of them but the slope of the nipple is still not my favorite. Very wide base and it doesn’t slope gradually. It overall has the same issues as the como tomo in that it encourages a lazy latch.
I know an evenflo nipple when I see it lol. I wish they were easier to find though
I wish they were, too!!
What about comotomo bottles?
I am not a fan of these because of the long nipple and non-gradual slope. This encourages straw-like breastfeeding, where the baby only hangs out on the nipple and sucks that way. Babies generally can't get a very deep latch on them as well.
What about the Avent bottle?
They aren't the worst bottle - the nipple shape isn't my favorite, and it can be a fast flow (even with the slow flow). But I like it more than some bottles. I will say that there was a change in one of the bottles (I think the natural flow), and the flow is TOO slow - as in, a baby will be bottle feeding for an hour and not get a thing. So I would be careful with that.
thanks for the info!
