- First I want to say sorry about the wind, I had on my mic and it was still too windy!!! I went there to catfish but end up getting a bucket full of striped bass!!

We catch them at the McAlpine Hydros like that when they in the area feeding on bait fish. I usually use a Sabaki Rig with a bigger Swim bait attached at the end to get their attention more.

That's what I was thinking too. Too short and fat for strippers also.
I think it depends on where you are from? A whipper/ stippers is the same as hybrid bass. [mix White bass and striped bass. ] And yes broken and unbroken lines on the side . And if your still not sure usually it will have 2 tooth patches on base of tongue . White bass will have 1 [whiper HYBIRB will have 2. ]

When them strippers are running and in a feeding frenzy its on like donkey Kong. It can last several hrs or 10 min. Im like you dont need no boat . I fish for catfish the most. But use bluegill for bait eat all 4 stipper crappie gill and catfish Fish. Fishin in all kinds of conditions thats how you learn on a nasty day i fished in this spot on a hot day windy i fished in is spot. I was using this for bait ect. Wind was blowing from the north all the little detail put food on the table I noticed the wind was blowing in towards you pushing all the bait fish food your way but when the bite slowed down your changed up your casting direction. Going from the right middle to the left Trying to find the fish again. I know that chicken livers work well for strppers fish at bottom like you do for catfish of course wait till fall or early spring when catfishing slowed down alittle and stippers are starting to bite. But still i think i have had a little better luck casting with bass or crappie lures for stippers. Fish on ... Great videos, nice that you get the Family involved GOD Bless.
