It would amazing if you do more of these videos. I love hiking and i am always searching for different routes from the same starting area.. btw your videos are amazing
Ahhh its super cool you mentioned the Queenstown Gardens, My grandpa was a gardener there for I think like 40 years and had a lot to do with the development of plants and flowers and stuff! And there's a tree planted in it thats got a name plaque I think of my grandma infront
I miss all your Queenstown videos...and all the funny names of towns and whatnot! I definitely want to go there and explore. Do you miss living there? Any plans to return soon?
Hahaha no many funny names I agree! Of course I miss it but no plans to return anytime soon. Unfortunately it is so far, and there is so much more to see!! But one day of course :)
So I did come down from North Island Sept-18 but did Roys Peak (video on my channel) which I would highly recommend before it gets too popular. Back again in QT Dec-19 so will likely do Ben Lomond or Mace Town after your recommendations. Thanks so much, that's cool bananas, young lady.
Recent subscriber here. I’m really enjoying your channel. I’m currently saving to go backpacking, but there are so many countries I want to visit! I can’t decide where to go first! Where would you recommend for a first-time backpacker? Also, how do you go about prioritising your destinations?
Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Europe -- all generally good for first timers! I pick my destinations based on the time I have to travel, my budget, and what I fancy doing. I wouldn't stress too much about the destination though, there are so many to choose from, just gotta slowly but surely tick them off one by one :)
Thanks so much for this! I'm going to NZ for a month at the end of November. I used many of your past videos to research activities and this one will be very helpful while I'm in Queenstown! Just wondering, are the bugs as bad as I'm reading about? :)
Hi thanks for sharing video! I'd like to try the Moke Lake hiking you recommended, but I can't drive .Uber can go from Queenstown hotel to moke Lake In Google search, but when I come back from Lake to queenstown, Uber won't travel. It'll be hard without a car, right?
I am taking a gap year and want to go backpacking but I would have to go alone as none of my friends are taking a gap year so I was wondering what it would be like for someone who is 18 and going alone ?? Is there a lot of people in a similar situation? And would people not make friends or engage with me as I'm only 18? This is really the only thing that's stopping me.

Adrian R I went in September and didn’t encounter any bugs in Queenstown. I did hear about them in Te Anau though.
What bugs lol? Had no issues whatsoever in NZ. Only if you're camping by some water, there may be midges but nothing super harmful!
Thanks! Good to hear!
Amazing as usual 🌻

I love hiking and I definitely want to go to New Zealand very soon -> perfect combination 🤗
TimonTravels it's the perfect place to go!
should visit fox glacier or franz Josef ?
Oof, Ben Lomond definitely isn't 4hrs return! Done it twice at a medium pace starting at the top of the gondola, takes 6hrs minimum.
You forgot lake alta, wye creek
I miss Queenstown
Me too!
Can you do these hikes in winter?
Yep 😁 just significantly chillier

Holly Barrow absolutely not! Very popular thing to do, even at 18! If people are judging you on your age, then they are just uncool 🙈
go back to New Zealand. I need a new series I have retwatched this one like 10 times lol
