@@bherber I'm very well aware of the demo, the sax intro aswell as the "uptempo" section. I'm not a "rookie" as you put it, your gatekeeping is fairly lame given Billy Joel is one of the most well known musicians of our current age. My curiosity does not and should not constitute my being a "rookie".
@@bherber I don't really have a position, I was genuinely interested in the points you were raising, but to be called a "rookie" is weird. Why gatekeep such a well known and influential musician? If it were some super obscure indie band, that'd make sense, but like... its Billy.
@@howtodoitdude1662 I criticize his personal life? How so. I'm pretty sure I only criticized him dumping liberty which would be in the professional realm
@@bherber That story is one sided. Billy said he wanted to start fresh with a new producer and musicians. Liberty is a hired musician, he even admitted it. Just to be fair, Liberty got a settlement from Billy after he cried about getting credit for his contributions to Billy’s songs. Why would Billy keep Liberty as his drummer? All aside, I apologize to you for any negative comments. I wish you well in all your endeavors. Life is short.
@@howtodoitdude1662 - The story is not one-sided. It has many sides. Every story has many sides. We've never heard Billy's side. There have been half-assed biographies out there, but we've never gotten a true account from Billy as to why he dumped Liberty. Also "new producer & musicians" you must be thinking 1993 River of Dreams. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about 2006. Trust me I've heard everything there is out there to hear. Billy did in a very cowardly fashion not invite Liberty back for the 2006 tour without saying anything to him after 30 years together, so the lawsuit was coming after Liberty's contributions. No one can say anything now because there is a nondisclosure clause in effect. Bottom line is that Liberty got unfairly treated and dumped from the band. Billy should have talked to him face-to-face before not having him back. I can tell that you a newer fan to Billy and don't have as much knowledge about everything.
One of my Billy Joel favorites!
Glad he's bringing this oldie back! Thanks for sharing
@@bherberhow so?
@@bherber no, just curious as to your reasoning

Oh I so wish Billy would release these live rarities!
Hey finally a close up great live version..one of the 'rare" tracks he wouldnt play for his first 35 yearssicne its release lol
Billy slip up just at the start of the second verse. Live music, is the best.
Yes he started the verse early. His crew had his back since the microphone was turned down at that point.
Better vocals than in 2018!
Haha! I was there in NYC yesterday, my parents didn’t know that song but I sure did!
The greatest the american fourth beatle
The Beatles were already four 😅
Did Billy talk about yesterday's announcement?
He looks so bored
Why does he always rub his ear and try to stick his hand in his pocket after a performance?😂
And you were knocking me for knocking him.... Lol
@@bherber I’m curious, not knocking him. You do his covers, then criticize his personal life. Theres a difference!
