People often say Morrowind is the bridge between old school and modern TES, but I honestly think Battlespire and Redguard are those bridges. Battlespire sits on the old school side of the chasm and Redguard on the modern side. I honestly enjoyed both games quite a bit, although Redguard had many game-breaking bugs that somewhat ruined my experience. Though a lot of the modern feel and lore makes itself very well known in Redguard. Looking forward to your videos!
Redguard gets a bad rap, but I actually really like the voice acting, music, setting, and lore. I wish Bethesda would let smaller studios make spinoff Elder Scrolls games like Redguard
@@DMIwriter Redguard has the second best story / lore in the series. It’s a shame the gameplay was so bad. If any game should be re-made now it should be Redguard.
I think you both hit on it. The writing and setting of Redguard were phenomenal. The weird part is that my favorite parts of the game were just talking to the NPCs. They were well fleshed out, there were differing motives with different opinions on the Empire and other factions, you got to see a culture responding to a societal crisis in many and varied ways. The lore was great and set the standard for the other games going forward. I do feel like it crystalized what was at that point aimless and nebulous lore. I just didn't enjoy the actual game parts. I'd find myself wanting to blow through combat and puzzles so I could get back to talking to NPCs.

The thing that stands out to me is that the AI didn't write a video (mostly because it doesn't really know how to do so), it wrote an article. Seriously the script is rather intolerable when listened to and would need a lot of polish to be an actual video script but to make it into an article? You would barely need half a day to fix it.

Tbh.... it did an incredible job despite the flaws. And that voice? I honesty started thinking that this wasn't an AI creation at all and you just pranked us.
That's cause he read the AI script himself. He explains early in the video that the ai voice wasn't good enough so he read the AI generated script himsslf.
Why do people get so mad when AI uses people's art as a reference point? Every single creative alive today does that but suddenly when an algorithm does it than it's a big deal... I'd feel bad for artists but 99% of them are self-absorbed losers who unironically believed their jobs were insulated. The fact that a lot of them also unironically mogged the working class over automation and said shit like "learn to code" also makes me unsympathetic to their conundrum. Note: Before some butthurt loser gets mad about me dunking on "artists" I do want you to know I don't agree in the concept of AI art fundamentally, specifically the idea that you can own something's intellectual rights when it was designed/created by a non-sentient being (think PETA and the monkey photo). This doesn't mean however that I don't think AI shouldn't be used as a took by non-creatives in order to create assets for their own projects without having to deal with a pretentious ego driven artist.
This is just like watching a Joseph Anderson video. So thinly spread, you'd complain to the manager if it were mayo on a sandwich in Starbux. I lowkey hate it. Huh. That sounds like an IGN article. 😂😂😂
lol! there was soo much repetition and fluff upon fluff.
Tbh.... it did an incredible job despite the flaws. And that voice? I honesty started thinking that this wasn't an AI creation at all and you just pranked us.
That's cause he read the AI script himself. He explains early in the video that the ai voice wasn't good enough so he read the AI generated script himsslf.
ign simulator
*Mowwowin*
AI blew chunks. I think you've got this in the bag.
Just starting and I'm going to guess that.. this will be like a kids essay. One that has access to "advanced" vocabulary... well advanced for a kid.
I work with AI, if you can find your niche it's good.
AI would you please paint me a picture of former news anchor, Dick Pound?
the ai script is repetitious and it likes to repeat itself
StOlEn ArT, have you credited every single bit of media you've ever taken inspiration from? You're an art thief.
😂
mad cus bad
5:55 an A.I bot will play this phrase before replacing you in 10yrs 😂
I kept zoning out while listening 😅
The AI just doesn't know how to be compelling
😂
I feel like I listened a man talk about a game for 20 minutes while also managing to say pretty much nothing. Ai is amazing.
0/10 AI can't do the funny little inflection you do when you say Immersion.
But does it give the player a sense of agency?
Yeah that's poor but at a human level of poor so... good.
This is just like watching a Joseph Anderson video. So thinly spread, you'd complain to the manager if it were mayo on a sandwich in Starbux. I lowkey hate it.
EDIT: "The AI struggled to go in-depth about the gameplay, just repeating vague information" - YEP. 100% JOSEPH ANDERSON.
EDIT2: Watched the whole thing. I am about to EXPERIENCE the most IMMERSIVE puke OF ALL TIME.... so much for being lowkey...
Gosh the AI repeats itself SO MANY TIMES.
When you have to meet you work count for an essay you don’t want to do in school
@@Jwlar you mean word count?
@@grundgutigertv6170 lol yeah, damn autocorrect
Morrowind deserved a better review from you. You gave Daggerfall and Arena so much more than they deserved, but you gave Morrowind almost nothing in comparison.
