There will be a second piece of art of dimples as you fly over a bumpy set of train tracks on the inside of the trunk from that unsecured tire iron. Any and all items in the trunk need to be secured !!.....Otherwise we are driving like it is the seventies...Smartin-up !!....LMAO....Just kidding I know you wouldn't do that....Peace
nobody will post a video in 2070 of a 2020 tesla or other "trending modern car"... but companies keep saying they are better and are worried about the customer and the environment
My great aunt had a '69 Torino GT that she bought on New years Eve from Universal Ford, Richmond, VA same year. Had it until the day she died 2003 and it only had 32,000 original miles on 351 Cleveland. I always took great pride in washing that car for her on Sundays!😁
That Torino is simply beautiful, both visually and audibly. it's hard to believe when these cars were originally built they weren't an unrealistic dream for the average person.
Friend of mine had one of those in high school in about 1980. Was also a 70, manual, with 351. Although his was ragged out, bald tires, etc. Drove it a couple times, hard to keep it going in a straight line lol. Good memories
Oh, MAN! My first car was a bone-stock 1971 Ford Torino with all of TWO options on it: automatic transmission and floor mats. I LOVED that old machine, even though it was the polar opposite of the beauty you've restored here. Sad to say, I can't remember the last time I saw a Torino ANYWHERE, and that's a shame. "Shaped by the wind..."
I had a friend in H.S. who had a 71/72 Gran Torino 4-dr with a 351 Cleveland V8 in it. That car was a Sleeper in that it could haul off the line quickly and hit speed sooner than most others in its class. It was fun to blow other cars off the line. My dad had a 72 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon with the 455 Rocket engine in it. For such a large car that thing could move.
The fact that the radio doesn't work isn't a problem,as the engine is playing a beautiful mechanical symphony. 🎻 🎷🎶🎵🎶🥁🎼🎺 Most underrated midsized American car ❤
Back in old days my supervisor had one of these. he said they had great cars, great tunes, Listen to Byrds, and people like alot of Cars but he liked the Torino, all around awesome car.
the epitome of 60's American style features we haven't seen ever since... center-fill-fueling, concealed wipers, hidden headlights and a shaker scoop!, all in the same car from the factory!
1970 Ford Toronto GT 429 Corbra Jet Awesome muscles car! My cousin had one but his had factory decals on it. I loved looking at it and it sounded BAD to the Bone!!😮😮❤❤
That is the only Ford I've ever really liked and I really, really, really, really like it. I don't know if I'd want a black one but that one sure looks nice.
I wouldn't be leaving the wheel brace unrestrained in the boot - that's a high spot in the quarter panel waiting to happen..... Absolutely beautiful car - looks amazing.
Piece of art
