Great video. Tying a lot of pike tubes that require bucktail, I've found "predator" tubes that are firmer, so you can really lash it down without compressing the tube. Just a heads up. Another great production Jesse
Podobed thanks man. I know lots of people use plastic tubing that is used in fish tanks as well haha. Anything that works I guess! Thanks for the support and kind words!
That's a great looking fly. I had to look up what sailfish and marlin eat and that tube covers the bases. Looks like a Deceiver platform that could represent bait fish or squid, which is one of my favorite foods too, so are mackerel, tuna, sardines and anchovies :o) m-m-m! So do you use the popper head more for marlin or both? You're an awesome tier and very knowledgeable, I've been sub'd for quite a while. Keep up the good work, thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. You can fish it with or without the popper. The fish is going to be fired up behind the boat so it will eat just about anything.
Great looking fly. It's like a sailfish guide fly
Awesome fly!!!
Many thanks brotha!

Have you used this fly for Billfish? I'd be concerned about that dubbing brush becoming bound on the bill and impeding hook ups.
Has been used here in Costa Rica without any issues.
Where did you get the tube for the fly? And how did you secure the tube for tying? Thank you
What size tube are you using?
What brand makes those brushes
Stavros Cotsoradis they are called flash blend baitfish brush. I ordered mine from Hareline.
