i think what this watch has is a rehaut (the metalic inside edge of the case), those other type of rings that cover a part of the dial and the inside of the case are called chapter rings.
I own three Orient's in my collection and they are always always noticed when i go out and asked about. You won't find much better out there for the price and quality.
I love this watch! I own the BB 58 Blue, but have been coveting the red dial but don't want to spend anymore this year. This might be a fun addition! But maybe with an Uncle Seiko 5 link bracelet?
Great videos, wonderful personality! New subscriber. I have never considered an Orient watch before this video.. I think they need to do only a couple of things to step up their game on this one, one of which is add sapphire and just a drop of lume or 2 on that beautiful bezel.
I have the sunburst ruby red dial with black bezel. One hell of a watch. Recently opened it up and regulated it myself with excellent an consistent results, ticking at +2 seconds per day.
I actually wasn’t supposed to buy this watch as I thought it was the Mako 3 but it actually is the Kano lol 😂 but a diff version I have decided I will keep it as it still is a lovely watch and I think the silicone strap will be more comfy on the wrist when compared to steel So maybe a good accident who knows?
