Aira's such a dunce and jumps to the most absurd conclusions, and it's absolutely hilarious 😂😂 in her mind, she's the protagonist of a completely different, shoujo romance magical girl anime, compared to the story everyone else knows they're in, lmao. I love her 😂😂😂 I was laughing my ass off this entire episode despite already reading the manga.
Honestly, momos reaction to findings okarun like that is showing that Even if she doesnt admit, she likes him as more than a friend. And as she is an honest person, she also doesnt have a "niceness" filtre to what she means. I have had experiences like that
Just found your channel, glad its growing so fast 😅 dont be afraid to pause and give us your takes or theories during the watch (unless that ruins your experience)
As for the boxer, in the manga he was singing ABBA's song "Chiquitita", but you know how it is with copyright - that or he forgot the lyrics. And melody.
@@HeadEmptyTV Listen, if you gotta listen to one song, at least get "Dancing Queen" in your ears someday. Not like I know a lot of ABBA, myself, but that's just an essential in anyone's music knowledgebase. Just mentioning it got the song stuck in my head.
I can see the connection, at least on the immediate surface, to Sonny Boy. I'm a huge fan of, for the lack of a better word, "weird shit" in stories, the unusual, the anomalous, blah blah. Absolutely different feelings between Dandadan and Sonny Boy, but that air of "what the hell is going on" is a huge draw. I'm pretty late to the anime fandom, age-wise, but that desire for that kinda weird ain't lacking in anime. I think Western media is just recently opening up to weirdness in the mainstream. I actually think a good analog to Dandadan for a Western TV show would be Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (totally different than the book, but it absolutely works for what it is). Only got 2 seasons, but it has that same bonkers feel to the whole thing. It's late, I type too much when tired, I'ma shut up before this becomes a damn thesis. You just wanted to know if someone saw Sonny Boy, dammit, why I gotta do this.

Boxer said he was a gig worker, a temp worker. Chiquita is the main banana brand.

14:25 nice catch, I didn't catch that on my many watches (or seen anyone reactors catch that)
