Radiator cap coming off brings back memories lol happened when I was on my 85 but man I thought it was hot sand burning me 😂😂😂
Funny you say hot sand burning you.. this is way off topic from radiator caps but I was riding around on a practice day at the track I’d be racing the next day and I was getting a burning pain in a bunch of places on my back. I thought hot sand was flicking up and going down my back somehow or something was coming off the exhaust so I slowed down, but I could still feel it and something was moving round and then it would start burning again. At that moment I realised it was a wasp or something stinging me so I went straight through the track barrier as fast as I could to my dad and jumped off my bike, started ripping my shirt and chest protector off while it was stinging me and my dad swiped a large hornet away as I lifted my shirt up.
Random story but the hot sand reminded me of that, I had more than 20 separate swollen red spots all over my back. Some of them were larger than other so luckily he didn’t get me good every single time but it was definitely uncomfortable.

I always check my radiator caps - (KTM) , and check its on straight and that the folded tabs are in good condition/position.
Nice riding though - awsome speed on the 250

that used to happen to me all the time, you have to run a 2.0 cap. I use the tusk high pressure cap with temperature gauge but you can run any cap with a 2.0 or higher rating. Good luck !

I have a question about how you whip your dirtbike, i see you do it all the time and looks so good and easy. in the how to movies i only see the fast Guys seat bounce whips but can you do a whip while standing? I have been struggling with it for quite a while now and cant really figure it out. When i turn my handlebars at the face of a bigger jump then it works out more like a scrub rather than a whip.
Do you have Some tips? Or Maybe it could be an idea for a new video?

I could tell as you were pulling onto the track the cap wasnt all the way turned tight then second corner it was already almost off. Drill a hole and put a cotter key in it. It's what I do as well on mine
It’s just mind blowing to me that these riders can just put in lap after lap, 1 lap of this track would have my arms feeling like concrete lol
