The best part of this tutorial ks that its universal for all fighting games. And remember, its never too late to get into any fighting game no matter how long its been out
As someone who finds classic controls scary to learn, this is really helpful to know and put into practice. I have been playing on modern mostly and just recently started trying classical inputs in training mode and doing combo trials. Using classical inputs is really hard for me but this way of training the inputs is really helpful and makes it feel more doable. Thank you!
Amazing video, truly a good tutorial, most videos like this are just empty content made to plug coaching but this is truly truly good and helpful, new sub :]
thank you so much. i am trying to do : [ high punch and cancel it to shinku hadoken ] while i am in the left. by arcade stick! i have tension coming from my left shoulder that makes my hand and fingers freeze. after i completed your video. i found my issue. that is before 3 days and today .... i made my combo in a clean inputs.👍
Thank you SO much for this. My inputs doing 214 are not clean at all. I keep doing 24 and I dropped so many combos, including game-winning ones because of this. I use AKI and I love to bait drive impact with cr.mk or cr.hk since they cancel into supers. But when I missinput my motion, you have no idea how defeated I feel even if I win the match. Hopefully, I can reach that level of cleanliness in my inputs sometime this summer.
thanks, feels like this video was made just for me! Big reason I'm not using FSE yet is because I have trouble activating it.. I'll try the 50% trick to get the activation down so I can actually start using FSE stuff in matches. Also, I usually combo from light dp into level 3 as a scramble confirm after hitting a crouching light. I know it's not optimal but sometimes that was the hit that I landed and I want to make it count.
@@BigNastyKail usually its the medium linker into a super. Especially after a long string, I think my fingers are tired and end up sloppily inputting the super. Happens on the punish combo as well
As a brandnew player, I seem to have the exact opposite problem that's described in the beginning of the video. According to the input history, at least my motion-inputs are perfectly clean - I just don't manage to do them in time to cancel into special or super moves, not even close. >_> I did turn on the training setting that makes your character flash in red/blue the moments you can cancel into other moves, and they come and go so quickly that it feels impossible to manage (and I don't even want to think about hit confirming xD). That said, I'm definitely guilty of mashing normals, because I don't understand how combos work in this game.^^
@@BigNastyKail I actually spent the last few hours in training mode following your Juri combo drill video, and I think I'm slooowly getting the hang of the first 3 basic combos you suggested (at least as long as the opponent doesn't fight back yet). So your videos have helped me already. :) I've noticed that the most difficult thing for me is incorporating Tensenrin both in combos and as "simple" anti-airs, especially on P2 side - they either don't come out at all, or too late so I miss the jump-in and get punished for trying.
I main Juri and I was able to get to masters some time ago, but I still feel stuck and part of it I think it's because I never practiced feng shui with her. I don't know when or how to use it properly, so I almost never do and just use S1 or S3, but I believe S2 is probably the most useful super for her and I should try to learn it, I just feel it's one of the most difficult things in the game and sometimes makes me want to change to an "easier" character, I just don't cause I really like her.
Maybe you should mention leverless qcb/qcf shortcuts for these combos? I can execute these combos effortless after I learned the knowledge, don't even need much practice
Hey Kail I’ve been watching your videos on how to improve on street fighter 6 and your modern guide on Juri. An I was just wondering are you interested in hiring an editor. If not that’s fine I just wanted to take a shoot and see. Great video as always.
man I will spend a week in training mode practicing combos and hit it 100% everytime. Then I go to Arcade or Local one on one against the CPU and nail it everytime there too. Then I get in a match and my brain completely forgets what the combo was even supposed to be SMH 😩
Head to the training room, remind your brain what it is, head back to the matches, try again. Once training room is automatic you just keep trying in a match until it hits. It’s a normal thing. You’ll get it
Improvement isn’t “I practice and I do it”. Improvement is up and down. Sometimes way down. It’s practice. Try it. Fail. Practice more. Try it. Fail. Practice more… do better but fail. Practice more. You don’t truly fail tho unless you give up. Keep pushing. You’ll do it!

Absolutely! Your skills will always carry over to other games!
i think the best part of this tutorial is juri with a ponytail

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Real martial arts wisdom my guy, great vid.
I have friend who says this constantly.
I suspect you to drop your videos just right at moment i need them. THX, Kail!
Im getting bak at this bc of akuma and this was very helpful you dont even understand , preciate you bro fr 🤝🏽
Thank you so much for this. I've been really trying to work on inputs and combos especially with Juri
You got this!
This video single handedly solved the biggest issue I didn't even know I had

I’m a simple man. I see a new BNK video drop and I watch.
Appreciate that!
lets get to work
You got this!
Thank you for the tips. I really need to practice Lv1 combos. I think I’m at less than 50% conversion
Watching this already improved my game. Accuracy > Speed

Holy shit I didn’t know you can do low meduim punch into super1.
Took me like 20-30 mins just to get it down.
I’m also new to levelerless controller.
Don’t rush it. Anytime you fail it in match, it’s all part of the process ☝️

Yea totally. It has its uses. Just… people get stuck on it. Almost like a right of passage.
This video was absolutely amazing man!
the a.k.i played in the start is literally me omgg‼️🥲
Good looks for the game!
thank you I always drop the bnb cashout combo 😥😥
Which part?
@@BigNastyKail usually its the medium linker into a super. Especially after a long string, I think my fingers are tired and end up sloppily inputting the super. Happens on the punish combo as well

You’re ahead of the game then. Start dialing up your speed little by little and maintain your inputs. You’ll get it no problem.

@@BigNastyKail True.
Does light Tensenrin into Lv3 deal more damage after 2HP > 214HK than canceling the 214HK straight into Lv3?

My main problem is canceling 6mp into feng shui, im getting so fustrated
Lol thought it was just me w crouching mp into level 2
issue is that my brain gets fried in situations even thou i lab out the combo & situation. End up playing too defensively an losing
play against cpu and do it then

so I have 1 Frame neutral between the two qcf/qcb super inputs is this bad?
Nah that’s perfectly fine. Having neutral frames is fine as long as the gap isn’t too big.
@@BigNastyKail Thanks bro I just realized how much time there is to input SA's it's insane :D Great video
@xXScottPilgrimXx that’s why it’s better to be slow and clean than fast and sloppy.
