Many thanks. 'Rugging up' is for the soft South Africans! We live in the north of Scotland so cold is the normal summer temperature! Really hope you enjoy your trip no matter how hot it may be. We are going back again in February 2023 so those videos might be full of whining how hot it is!
@@oldcodgerwithacamera Ah, northern Scotland, then it makes sense you aren't bothered by the cold! I'm a soft Aussie. I love that your videos are kind of like 'slow tv', whereas many short videos on KTP just show their best sightings - makes people think you'll see cheetah, leopard and lion around every corner.
Yeah, I watched plenty of those 10 minute videos with the result that it all seemed rather quiet when we got there! I was worried that my videos might not have enough action but I've tried to show the reality of long days driving searching for the, often elusive, wildlife.
No, no, NO! How could we miss that? That was why the birds flew up and we were busy watching them and the jackal. Do you want to come with us next time a a spotter? 😉
Love your videos and sightings thank you
Many thanks for taking the time to comment. Lots more coming!
Fantastic video, the Kgalagadi is still my all time favourite, one of the last true wildernesses in the world.
Thanks for youe appreciation. It's certainly a special place which will, undoubtedly, lure us back.
Really enjoyed watching, thanks once again. Accommodation looked great.
Thanks. The river front chalets are not cheap but are well worth it.
enjoyed watching it.thx u
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
Great episode. Funny how no matter how cold it is you aren't all rugged up! My first trip to KTP is in Mar '23, expecting it to be baking hot 24/7.
