      The Devil was also touched by Islam's message and became a muslim and
      commands MuhamMAD to do good:
      Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Each one of you has a devil-companion from the jinn over him.” They said, “Even you, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Even me, yet Allah helped me against him until he embraced Islam. He does not order me to do anything but good.”

    I reverted to Islam after studying it for about two years. Once I took my Shahada I didn’t plan on wearing hijab because I thought “Allah is forgiving he knows my heart and so on like many western muslima influencers”. I was attached to my beauty because in America I am the beauty standard and I held it dear to my identity I knew I wouldn’t be able to benefit from it like I always have in every aspect of my life honestly. After taking Shahada I immediately started wearing hijab I met two beautiful sisters who were hijabis’ and they were the most beautiful women inside and out Alhamdulillah they gave me confidence to wear hijab. I’m so grateful to Allah for placing these women in my life around that time. I’ll say this once you stop letting outside influence dictate whether or not you follow Allahs teaching you will truly see how your life changes for the better instantly. Allah knows how difficult it is for us to wear hijab and it truly gets you closer to him than before. Just recently I was contemplating whether I was going to wear hijab to my interview here in the US because I’ve never been through something like this and Alhamdulillah I made dua Allah guided me to keep in on no matter what and Alhamdulillah I got the job! It made me gain trust in Allah and I made dua for him to make it easy for me. Allah knows best and if he is requiring it for us muslimas to wear hijab that should be enough of a reason to wear it proudly. Wearing hijab for me is like wearing a crown that represents Islam. I also am a revert first in my family lineage living in a metropolitan city in the US. Ladies make it a priority and make dua that Allah keeps you in the straight path. I don’t get sexually harassed or looked at with list anymore and I’m actually safer than before. I had to develop other qualities besides my beauty that give me confidence such as following sunnah, furthering my education and being a genuinely good person. May Allah guide you sis it’s not as difficult as you think. I overcame the same obstacles you have and if I can do it ANYONE can I say that in the most humble way because I never thought before taking Shahada that I would proudly be a hijabi! You got this ladies!!

      im from islamic bckground, its true, mslms t reat other mslm hrsher than they t reats n0nmslm (atleast in my country, indonesia, that relatively tolerance to n0nmslms), in m0st school they were very harsh to make wmen wearing hjab, and shunned her if she did not.

    I took my Shahada in March of last year. Right before the beginning of Ramadan alhamdulillah! When I was doing my research on Islam, there were a few people who stuck out to me, especially when coming across reverts. Candace is one of them. Her handle being called “The Blonde Muslim” really sticks out. Just like myself, she lives in Southern California. Coming across her profile is one of many things that gave me the confidence to become Muslim.

      Blind believers looking for CONFIRMATION of their Sect/Firqa beliefs is not the straight path.
      - please Read the Quran and Verify
      - instead of promoting Sectarian/Firqa ideology which was written in secondary books 200 years later by the Firqa chiefs- who only claim they are explaining the already ‘EXPLAINED IN DETAIL’ words of the Almighty Allah.
      //Quran 6. 114
      "Then is it other than Allāh I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book EXPLAINED in DETAIL?"
      And those to whom We gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.
      6.115. And the word of your Lord has been FULFILLED in truth and in justice. NONE CAN ALTER His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.//
      Here is a wake up call for these Firqa promoters:
      //Quran 6.159
      Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - YOU ARE NOT WITH THEM in anything.
      Their affair is only to Allāh; then He will inform them about what they used to do.//
      Stop declaring Halal/Haram with your tongues
      //Quran 16.116
      Do not falsely declare with your tongues, “This is HALAL, and that is HARAM,” ˹only˺ fabricating lies against Allah. Indeed, those who fabricate lies against Allah will never succeed.//
      Quran is the Furqan meaning the criteria to judge between the right and wrong
      Quran is a book since the time it was revealed yet Sectarians have written different narratives of how it was compiled. - please read the Ayah/verse 39.23 attentively and you will see.
      Quran is the ehsan TAFSEER
      Quran is the ehsan al’Hadith.
      //Quran 25.33
      And they do not come to you with an example [i.e., argument] except that We bring you bil’Haq wa ehsan TAFSEER (the truth and the best explanation).//
      //Quran 39.23
      Allah has revealed the EHSAN AL’HADITH in the FORM of a BOOK,
      consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.//
      They’re Trying to say that Quran is difficult when it is actually revealed for mankind and the foundation required for the Deen is straightforward
      yet these preachers have complicated things for the people.
      //Quran 54.17
      And We have indeed made the Qur'an EASY for Zikr (to understand and remember): then is there any that will receive admonition?//
      Hope that much from the words of Allah is helpful.
      Unto you is your belief

    Wow what an amazing story! I am German-Iranian and while my dad is proud to be a Muslim, he never practised. I was always drawn but never fully went in. Iranians have an incredibly strained relationship to Islam, understandably, so now that I am developing my own relationship with it, I am up against a lot of mockery and hostility from my own people who have been robbed of their spirituality by a dictatorship misusing and abusing religion. - I was really touched to hear Candace talk about not being perfect at the beginning. This is my first Ramadan, and I sometimes only manage to fast until 2pm rather than 6, and am drinking water. At first I felt ashamed, but I hope it is still acceptable to God. I am trying. I absolutely love listening to Koran - especially in the morning while seeking connection to God but generally all the time 💕. - Ah, and like many others, I was brought closer to the faith of my roots by October 6, and how the West is aiding and abetting genocide. The situation is wild here in Germany and we "brown people" have been facing crazy amounts of police violence, bullying and media repression as well as threats by ordinary people on rhe street. I always knew the white man hates us (I witnessed my Iranian day's experience). Now I know the depth and the length to which they go to. It would be cynical to say "thank God for October 6 and all that came thereafter" because of the horrible loss of life and dehumanising humiliation of Palestinians. But thank God for October 6 and how the West treated it because it fast-tracked my return to the deen of my ancestors and it invited so many others in. Thanks for this conversation again. 🙏🏽

I finally just left and moved to Egypt so I can just be me and not be attacked all the time for being a Muslim. So I don’t see where the freedom of religion is without violence, especially when I don’t bother anyone at all, I’m peaceful. I’m old now and disabled and there is no way I could defend myself if someone pushed me or something.
      //Quran 6. 114
      //Quran 6.159
      Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - YOU ARE NOT WITH THEM in anything.
      Their affair is only to Allāh; then He will inform them about what they used to do.//
      Stop declaring Halal/Haram with your tongues
      //Quran 16.116
      //Quran 25.33
      And they do not come to you with an example [i.e., argument] except that We bring you bil’Haq wa ehsan TAFSEER (the truth and the best explanation).//
      //Quran 39.23
      //Quran 54.17
      And We have indeed made the Qur'an EASY for Zikr (to understand and remember): then is there any that will receive admonition?//
      Hope that much from the words of Allah is helpful.
      Unto you is your belief
      Salaam/Peace

Muhammad died out of poison, if he is a prophet hu must’ve to know that coming. One more thing it’s not a peaceful tolerant religion at all the Kaba you’re seeing today is built by destroying more than 300 idols of qureshis, and the black stone one out them clearly idol worshipping. And human evaluation and modern science proves Adam Hawa just a lie cuz they’ve no answer. Better get out it, I don’t care what religion or whatever you want to be just leave the mud hole , I can garentee u will feel much more open minded as a new experience. Narrator: Buraydah bin Al-Haseeb Al-Aslami | The narrator: Ibn Baz Source: Collection of Fatwas of Ibn Baz Page or number: 312/10 | Summary of the hadith’s ruling: Its chain of transmission is authentic Graduation: Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi (2621), Al-Nasa’i (463), Ibn Majah (1079), and Ahmad (22987)

    Sister, I think you handled the hijab issue well. At least, you didn’t give up Islam for that but you are taking it easily step by step.
    May Allah help, support and protect you from all and everything evils.

    My Sister in Islam: I hav a sister in law fromSanta Barbara CA= also a revert (she even looks like u)- but I never had the courage to ask her about her perspective of how Islam (Muslims) perceived her.
    It is only your honesty and compassion in sharing your experiences- am I now able to derive how over these many decades what she must have felt.
    Ur interview is a must view for mosques around the 🌎 it is insightful and beautifully explained as ur experiences.
    Great job!

    Probably a better Muslim than most Muslims who take it for granted. Also has to face oppression for the decision. The pressure from Muslims too. After every hardship, there is ease. She should stick to her own pace according to her surroundings.

    What a great title for the video 👌
    I don't follow this sister nor have I watched any of her videos, but I love listening to reverts stories - I find them emotional, and I haven't come across a blonde Muslim.
    Alhamdullah for her - subhanallah, Allah guides who he wills and I Iove the work she is doing. It is truly admirable and she is inspiring, although it is such a shame to hear about the abuse and toxicity she is receiving, especially from Muslims. Subhanallah. Hard to comprehend.

    Dear sister, I watched your video, it is amazing. I see you are happy and wise, thank you God. The Islam religion opens rusty hearts in peace, it changes human behavior to mannerisms which radiates enlightenments to humanity. And all creations have its own rights until other’s limit of rights. Islam has logic which indicates good reasonings and they make sense. The Quran gives a lot of hints about science and existence of Allah(God), not everyone understands and sees that, special people able to understand and see them, sister is one of them, who saw the right path. May Allah bless all of us.

    When I heard her story I instantly remembered the verse 24:35 in surah alnoor (the light) which one of its interpretations is the two lights of guidance human have in this life ..
    one is the Fitrah (common sense of the honest heart) and the other is the revelation (Quran and sunnah) she clearly had the first light which led her to the second light may we all be guided to our final destination and meeting Allah in heaven in peace …

    Agree with Candice. The way we deliver a message is as important as the message itself. If Rasulullah (pbuh) was aggressive, mean, impatient, and condescending nobody would even listen to him. Let alone accept the message of Islam. Even the way Rasulullah advised Aisha was gentle, the way he comforted Aisha when she was upset was so sweet also.
