I've been skating just over a year and I would say that the t stop is not a beginner stop (in my opinion) also I didn't know this but recently a skate shop over here in the UK informed me that you shouldn't use your toe stop when stopping going forward cos it can muck up the thread in the plate which is not fixable. The toe stop is meant for pivoting, jumping etc not stoping ( unless uour going backwards down a hill)

The first way you explained is exactly how I stop all the time on skates. Feels good to know that someone else other than me uses this weird technique! 😬🤪🤣
Great video! I think I’ll personally use plow stop and the drag toe stop. I too find the T-stop kinda difficult, but mainly because I usually skate on rocks 😂
Your legs look amazing. Those muscles 😍 i use the plow stop a lot and try to learn the turn around toe stop, but it's hard hahaha. T stop is easy but not great indeed. Toe stop can be dangerous
Great video. I have not been able to do T-Stop outdoors. I find it quite uncomfortable and dangerous. Other stops work well. Plough works great and so does the toe stop.
The reason your Tstop bounces, is because you're putting the inside wheels down. You should try it with putting eitjer all 4 wheels down at the same time, or just the outside wheels.
I think it would be easier to do trick and also T stop with hybrid weels than the soft one you got. Gummy wheels are bad for the skate park, fundae or wheels with same specs are good for skate park.

That one is really difficult 😅 try practicing in place first🙌 then try it rolling! You don’t have to open your feet all the way for it to work, sometimes I feel myself lift my toe off the ground a little too. you got this!

T stop on anything other than the smoothest wood floor is really impossible for me too lol
