i really like how tails doesn't immediately die, he just gets more and more destroyed as you keep him alive, puts sense to every single time .exe said he was having fun by making the cast suffer

What i notice is that tails seems like hes learning. In abandoned zone, at max speed you can see hes still spinning his tails to try and go faster but its not helping much. Then in hollow valley, he gives that up and begins running more like sonic does and in turn goes faster. Its like hes adapting to his situation
Maybe every time he dies he remembers that experience and try’s to learn from it. And maybe eventually he’ll manage to beat sonic at his own game. Or even defeat him by some miracle..even tho he can make tails suffer for as long as he pleases. He can’t get rid of his memory
i believe the deadnicks are screaming because they want you to end their suffering, and since they seem to not really be able to ask, screaming to jeopardise your plan is their way

It also seems like the machine aspects are torturing them too. The pain is brought back upon Tails getting too close like a twisted proximity alarm. Only in death are they freed of the torture

what i really love about some of the sonic.exe games like pc port and this especially is how it puts so much "love" to the environment. Literally feels like omt put sentience into the wildlife, then demented it, seeing all the weird plant-life turning into something beyond carnivorous, biting, mimicking, screaming. Its quite literally what hell is, just you and others suffering all around, with no place of peace, forced to be with the damned or join the damned, no way around.
I am so in love with this “re pixel” The omt sprites sent chills down my freaking spine, and not only that the tracks go incredibly hard too! (Abandoned zone act 3 especially)
at this point Mr. Pixel is so good at this that sticking to the sonic.exe niche kinda holds him back imo, if he branches out, he can possibly become as huge as Lumpy, he certainly has talent and creativity for it

It is amazing to think of how far we've come since the original Sonic.EXE. From the standard Sonic model, just a gaping maw and empty eyes fitting the classic horror movie tropes of someone having been possessed. As it moved on, then we started to see some shape shifting, multiple different forms, and a much darker influence. Now here we are with just a straight up full blown nightmare fuel demon. Even the way of when it started, things sure seemed bleak and signs of the devastation caused, there wasn't too much influence on the world, to the point that it's clear who's in charge and there really is no getting away. Right when I think it can't get any darker, it gets darker.
i mean its pretty cool tbh, like imagine you're trapped in this devilish world and have to run from some 20ft spider and have to dodge and jump over things and then everything just goes flat and u have to run in a straight line because its ur final show.
As much as the exe formula needs to change like tails not dying first, more emphasis on story element, stressful moments without relying on jumpscares, you have to respect the work put into these sprites that are fantastic and really disturbing.
I think that in OMT that the first 3 acts are the real tails while the secret level being Alan because it literally says his name instead of tails and Alan is killed differently than tails

One of my friends was watching me play this and in hide and seek, he said why does tails even try? I’d like to think that tails is just wanting to not only live (obviously) But we know he looks up to sonic and knows that he wouldn’t give up so why would he? Far fetched I know, but in the chase the song in it has this very hopeful whistle to it like a light at the end of the tunnel, but you know what happens…. In terms of character tails wouldn’t give up that easily similar on how Sonic wouldn’t. (Tails is also my favorite character so that’s what makes sense for me) Thank you for your time.

Because according to him OMT is "an eternal hell for those who committed the sin" or when that one tails easter egg with the whiteboard originally said "you can do it!" but when he sees tails (or Alan) he immediately changes it to "Nevermind. You will never leave." it's almost like OMT is some sort of punishment for those who commit a certain sin or crime.
The new forms he’s taking on is quite insane, he looks like Shin Sonic in the Hide N’ Seek Act 2. I’m curious now Mr. Pixel would actually add some sort of actual hidden Good ending at some point in the future

This game has been constantly updated for the past two years or so, and it’s become greater with due time.

i mean its pretty cool tbh, like imagine you're trapped in this devilish world and have to run from some 20ft spider and have to dodge and jump over things and then everything just goes flat and u have to run in a straight line because its ur final show.

As much as the exe formula needs to change like tails not dying first, more emphasis on story element, stressful moments without relying on jumpscares, you have to respect the work put into these sprites that are fantastic and really disturbing.

I think that in OMT that the first 3 acts are the real tails while the secret level being Alan because it literally says his name instead of tails and Alan is killed differently than tails
There is no “real Tails”, they’re all human souls
@ it wasn’t explicitly stated ever before tho (until this version)and OMT is a different interpretation of sonic.exe so it’s hard to tell if Alan would exist and the name of the character never changes in the main game until the secret level and Alan also has different sprites then all the other tails sprites

Just an FYI, Mr. Pixel has said that during the Hide And Seek stage, Tails is already dead and you're just playing with his corpse.
Not entirely sure if that's better or worse than him still being alive.

One of my friends was watching me play this and in hide and seek, he said why does tails even try?
I’d like to think that tails is just wanting to not only live (obviously)
But we know he looks up to sonic and knows that he wouldn’t give up so why would he?
Far fetched I know, but in the chase the song in it has this very hopeful whistle to it like a light at the end of the tunnel, but you know what happens….
In terms of character tails wouldn’t give up that easily similar on how Sonic wouldn’t.
(Tails is also my favorite character so that’s what makes sense for me)

1. Kudos to beating this, it must’ve been difficult as heck. I find it sad that you died anyway though in the end. Wish there was a “good” ending somehow.

I like to think that tails (or Alan who is the soul inside of tails) is actually some horrible criminal, like a serial killer or something. Because according to him OMT is "an eternal hell for those who committed the sin" or when that one tails easter egg with the whiteboard originally said "you can do it!" but when he sees tails (or Alan) he immediately changes it to "Nevermind. You will never leave." it's almost like OMT is some sort of punishment for those who commit a certain sin or crime.
The new forms he’s taking on is quite insane, he looks like Shin Sonic in the Hide N’ Seek Act 2.
I’m curious now Mr. Pixel would actually add some sort of actual hidden Good ending at some point in the future
