    Henry akins has detailed instructional on the kesa gatame position. To make it effective you really sit your hip high on the opponent ribs and then PULL your hip using your legs through the opponent into the mat. The final couple of adjustments he does is to lift the head and just relax sinking into the opponent like a heavy relaxed waterbed
