Love your fabrics for your launch. If you have a problem with lighting in your workroom, have a look at surface mounted track lighting fixed to your ceiling, with Led GU10 lamps in cool white or daylight. Avoid warm light, as it distorts colour. Led is also safer as it is a cold light, and does not get hot like halogen (therefore safer for your fabrics). The advantage of this system is that you get a nice clean bright white light, and you can add a number of spotlights to the track, so you can direct the spotlights to the areas you need extra light. Just make sure the GU10 lamps have a high CRI (colour rendering index) because it gives off better detail and more accurate colours. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Make sure you take breaks especially with your hands and hips. My mum worked as a seamstress from her teens to late thirties. Sat down and working on her sewing machine for kong hours. She changed job to one that still used her hands. She now has aches in her hands and hips.
Have you thought about doing one bookshelf with just holiday prints and put it in the scrunchie room? Then everything is together but its not mixed into your regular stock material...
Hi Taylah I'm in the USA and I would recommend you launch Halloween in August or September. That's when Halloween stuff sells here and after Oct 31 it's all about Christmas, actually Christmas has been in the stores for over a month so American shoppers probably won't buy much Halloween now. Maybe you have good luck with it but I would think not.
Maybe you could plant a tree that doesnt get big enough to cut some of the wind but not big enough to take over your yard or the wind to knock them over into your house ?

i sew upcycled clothing and wearable art, and LOVE watching and listening to you while i sew. i'm pretty new to your channel, and i feel like if i went back and watched ALL of your videos, i might find the answer...what is the glue you use to attach your elastic ends? it seems to dry so quickly!! also, how about a trip to the US to help me create a fabric wall? yours is so beautiful, and has inspired me.
Do you use different sewing styles for your scrunchies? I remember you were trying the “burrito” method but weren’t sure because it was a bit more time consuming; but I see you doing both styles. I was just wondering why you used both styles? Is it easier one way with certain fabric types?
