One of the very best of the current crop of tabla players. However, I still miss the optimal weight or tonal modulation in the banya especially when he plays Ustad Feroze Khan's sahaabs famous 'ta-dha' bedam at 52.50. I may be slightly biased because I have heard this composition countless no of times from the great Ustad Zakir Hussain sahab and understand that the aesthetic impression Ustadji creates in the listener's mind is indelible and unforgettable.
