I gave it a try once, couldn't get into it. But recently some mlp fan songs have crossed my youtube and I decided to have another go. Binged the first season in one sitting, I couldn't stop! I've seen some spoilers over the years but I still cant wait to go through this journey. I really feel regret not joining the fandom so much sooner. Its constantly on my mind. As you said, once you enter, you cant leave. Gonna start on gen 5 from the beginning when it comes out in '22. Not gonna miss out again!

Nya, with the theory of parallel universes being basically a certainty we can say that Equestria really exists somewhere, which is equal parts reassuring and frustrating because it's out of our hands (Although knowing what humans are like it's better that way, for the well-being of our beloved ponies TT.TT) I like to think that when someone dies they cross the barriers of time and space to go to the place you prefer, no matter what place it is. Equestria would be a wonderful place for that final journey. I'm not sure if I'd like to remember my time on earth, but it sure would help me even more to appreciate the gift of being there.
I don't know if it make it worse or better but an Equestrian styled society is very well in our grasp, we'd just have to reach out and take it. Just a little bit of kindness is all it would take. Sadly, there just never was a man to take it.
I had an interest in this series for a few years, but never dove into it until two months ago. In that time I binged the entire series (minus the movies) on a UA-cam playlist. It was the most heartwarming, charming, and silly series I've ever seen. Personally, I never thought it would have such character development, a good plot, or the writing that it did. On the outside, its a show for younger kids about 2D animated ponies. On the inside, its got plot, lovely characters, and wonderful development of those characters. From the second season onward I was fully convinced it was something I liked. A lot. Bare in mind, I'm 24 years old and if you had asked me about ten years ago if I would be interested in MLP, I would've given you a hard no. So I find it ironic that in my twenties that I'm into it. Who's my favorite? Either Applejack or Rainbow Dash. Twilight is number three.
Just dont dive into G5. Let the story of our little ponies end at FiM. G5 is where the magic died. So long as you, me, and the rest of us stick to FiM, the magic will remain. Teach your children about Twilight and her adventures. Have them teach their children, and then their children's children. FiM will be the key to a better world, my friend. Mark my words.
@@hoplite2405 While I understand that Hasbro still needs to make money off the MLP franchise, G5 simply doesn't sit with me nearly as well as G4 did. It's the combination of the dramatic animation style change (from 2D to fully 3D rendering) and characters that I can't really get behind. The G5 movie had its moments, but considering that I willing went through everything G4 had to offer including EQG for Sunset Shimmer, but haven't searched for G5 should say a lot. FIM is where the story ends imo too. Though I would've liked to see where Luster Dawn ended up, or perhaps a couple alternate endings where Sunset did succeed in taking the crown and invading Equestria, or if she wasn't greedy with her magic studies and became the princess that Celestia planned for her to be. What if Starlight succeeded in changing the timeline? If Sombra didn't fail to destroy the Crystal Empire? Etc. Of course, I guess that's what fanfiction is for. (I'm actually making my own that involves crossing my fursona with Equestria, and it takes place a couple of years after S9E25, and S9E26 hasn't happened.) Overall, I feel like I missed out on MLP in its prime. FIM was truly something magical.

I'm so glad you gave the show a chance! I was the target audience when it came out (a young girl), and I started watching when season one was airing all the way until the finale came out my senior year of High School. I'm 21 now and rewatching the show, and its still so magical and nostalgic.
Homeschool usually left me home alone sitting for hours and hours at a desk doing schoolwork in silence. I didn't really have friends. And I couldn't focus with the TV or music that had words on. So I usually came back to this very video. I did my all my finals listening to this video. And basically all 4 years of high-school. Now I sit here and I've been graduated since 2020. I want to say thank you. Homeschool was hell and the peace this music gave me played a small role in getting me through it. I am now an adult and going through some tough times, and I came back here to feel a little of that peace again. Thank you. 💖
This is some of the most relaxing, beautiful MLP music I've ever heard. It adds in a sense of wonder and implication that what little we see of Equestria as depicted in the show is only a tiny microcosm of a much larger world. For what I mean, look into the map from the now-abandoned fanfic "Where The World Ends." Incredible stuff. Thank you for this compilation, my friend.
