Stylophone Gen X-1 Looping Jam / Impro/ Test

- Just got this as a present.
So I did a little looping jam to test ist.
It's a little too noisy for my taste, but you can get some crazy sounds out of it, so it 's fun, a little bit like the korg monotron.
The output of the Stylophone is directly recorded/looped in Ableton Live 10 through the external audio interface.
I use a Launchpad mini to record/play the different loops.
A little EQ/Reverb/Compression is added on the master.

You need a pedal to loop or a software or an app. I use Ableton live but there is so many possibilities...

Playing the normal stylophone is enjoyable Because it's the famous classic stylophone but I have the regular and the gen x-1 and boy is the x-1 a lot of fun
So get the regular if you want to be able to say you played it and owned it but get the x-1 if you wanna do a lot of stuff
That looks like a lot of fun. Is that a ribbon controller or does it work only with the stylus?
Yes, there is a ribbon controller above the "Keys"
The ribbon works with your finger. You play the keys with the stylus.

I use Ableton to loop audio, but you can use another DAW or app, or a hardware looper pedal, many possibilities. You can't loop on the stylophone itself ;-)
mine doesn’t work and does not make any sound unless i open the cut off button. Is it normal?

I use Ableton live to loop. If you just want to loop stuff there is plenty cheaper alternativ though
