I come back for more of the content that you produce because: (1) you’re genuine (honest) and humble about yourself and your feelings and opinions, and (2) you’re gentle and kind towards others. Those may not be observations you would make about yourself in an essay but I can say them because they are important to me. I refuse to use my precious time to support anyone whose main reason for producing content (besides earning money) is to put their ego on display. You’re one of the people who makes the world a better place simply because you’re part of it.

I started my first sketchbook July 10, 2024 and titled it “Almost 80”. What a change in my morning routine. The second thought I have when I wake up is my sketchbook - coffee of course is first. Throughout my day of caring for my husband, quilting, gardening, weaving etc, ideas enter my mind for all kinds of drawings. Thank you for sharing your humanity with honesty and exuberance!

O my goodness. This was soo helpful and right on time. I am legally blind and I am an artist. I recently got the idea to make videos of my artwork and encourage other blind artists to keep doing art. I learned so much over the years about painting blind, and I want to share tips on how to create art with a visual impairment. I just started making my first video, but I don't love the piece that I recorded doing. I know that it is fine, but I think that I am making excuses because I am afraid to fail. I feel like I will be putting my vulnerabilities on display, and that is scary. But I am passionate about art, and I am passionate about helping others. Your words really hit home for me. I realize that I don't want to let blind people that I want to help down. Your video really helped me to readjust my thinking about all of this. Thank you so much for this video. This was truly helpful❤

If I don't ask the question or try the thing I can't say I tried. What's the worst thing that can happen anyway? Ask the question. Get the answer. Try that thing. It might come out better than we think. Right on with sticking with it and being consistent. Thank you. You inspire me to hang in there.

Great points! It's hard to get started when your mind is quiet and you have no ideas. Writing ideas in a notebook when they pop up is well...a great idea. As you said I find if I just start drawing SOMETHING...the flow will happen eventually. But if I sit staring at the blank page forever...it's quite discouraging. Thankyou for the videos ❤

Teaching me to be ok with mistakes and creating something new out of those mistakes. Thank you! All your videos are, at worst, interesting, but like many of them, this one really resonated with me. Particularly, I’ve been “planning” a long term project for many many months but it’s so huge a task and one that I don’t know where or how to begin, so I’ve been procrastinating, even though I dearly want to be right in the middle of it, long term. Your first tip caught my attention, the others kept it, and now I have a process to begin following. My project? Playing with over 60 years of prolific photography, its history, all its mediums, to memory keep, organize, declutter and, the biggest item- etcétera! Blessing!

Danny's shortcomings, at this point maybe limited to underestimating his 'properties'? (And selfishly, probably me too & maybe others have this problem - nobody tells them what they are/ could be great at.)
Imho this voice is top class podcast radio audio quality, the message too - but that could be numerous other subjects. Production quality is seamless too.
