- Isaac overcame his misconceptions about the Agricultural Equipment Technician job because he had no farming background. But now he loves it because it is a very diverse job. One day he could be doing diagnostics on a lap-top all day and the next day he could be rebuilding the transmission on a piece of equipment that is 20 years old. He says people don’t understand how technologically advanced his job is. Watch Isaac’s job talk to learn more.

I'm 7 years working in Saudi Arabia as a tech mechanic a dealer Company of New holland.l learned a lot like tractors, small and big balers, windrowers and harvesters.the most interesting when my company send me to train big balers in Belgium wow such a nice place.wish I could go back
How much did they pay ?
when I tell them I work on Construction machines Caterpillars they think im dirty, uneducated, and am a simple construction laborer. when in reality, like he said these machines are very technical and complicated. I love being a Caterpillar mechanic and I would recommend working on machines, trucks, ag machines, engines, and whatever has a diesel engine. its something new everyday and rewarding too
I'm only in grade 9 and have wanted to be an Agricultural technician since I was in grade 4 or 5. I learn a lot of the stuff I know from farming with my grandfather and dad. My high school offers many great classes like Agriculture SHSM and many others that I am going to take. I'm interested in learning how to get started in this trade? Where you approach your local dealer or? any feedback would be appreciated Thank you!
