I am a home body but I still need to get out of the house. 😅 it’s a good idea to start stocking up on items now for your kids if you have the space because everything is so expensive. For anyone who finds themselves in a situation like the dog attack, We had a pretty aggressive rescue, and the vet told us to wheelbarrow the dogs, if they’re big enough to get your hands on their rear ends without being close to their mouths! Like wrap your arms around their rear ends and lift their hind legs off the ground. It tends to startle them, and shake them out of that aggression. This works especially well if you have an aggressor and a defender, and not two aggressors!
@@carasmart6077 yes this is great advice, I learnt this when I was in the vet field! Sadly I was just one person being tangled up in leashes with 2 dogs attacking my 2 dogs so it was impossible to use any sort of technique I had been trained on 😭 But this does work well if its a 1 on 1 aggressive situation!
The situation with your dogs and the other off leash dogs would be scary. I was born raised and still live in Michigan so I love Detroit style pizza. It’s finally winter and cold here with a little snow this thanksgiving weekend so really feels like Christmas season is here now.

That's totally understandable! It was really important for me to continue taking them on walks and to not have them feed into the fear! But I do feel like if you're well prepared for it going forward it is less scary and anxiety inducing❤️
Of course I do! I just tend to take it off along with my Apple Watch when I'm just lounging around the house or doing chores etc since I use it for sleep/activity tracking ☺️

Literally this afternoon my dog was attacked on a walk at a nearby trail. Luckily my husband was with us and grabbed the harness on the other dog and pulled him off our dog. Our dog is fine, but can’t figure out why people let their dogs off leash in a public area!!
Yeah, I think that was the hardest part for me is that they didn't even have collar or anything else so there was no way for me to pull these dogs off of mine... cell has been attached before the dog park but I think I was so caught off guard because we were just walking down the street like in a neighbourhood😭🥲😅

I don't have contact with one of my biological parents. I've learnt it's easiest to phrase it like this to not confuse anyone since I do very much have a Dad present in my life. My mom and I are very close and I've had a stepdad in my life since I was a little kid who I call Dad ❤️
