He could have said bum, or tramp, or even homeless person, but instead he used the word gentleman.
I liked the decency of that witness more than I am able to describe.

for sure, THEY will never be happy. My mother also had some of it and living in her home was really hard, I went away as early as I possibly could. What I remember most is how unhappy was her life, beyond repair. But she wasn't mean, just very sick and troubled.

When a person is in a relationship with an abuser we have three choices: fight, flight or freeze. The relationship becomes toxic because a victim has to choose one but if the abuser won’t let the victim leave then we escape the violence by either verbally defending ourselves if we don’t physically fight, escaping our reality with substances and let them do what they want while we are unconscious, Hide or take cover. Johnny had to do all three. He wasn’t being toxic he was trying to survive. Which then created toxicity.

I watched till the end. I have a daughter with BPD. Over time her behaviour and actions have adversely affected every member of our family. It is very hard to achieve resolution as these individuals are unable to admit responsibility for their actions.
I have a family member like that too! This person blames everyone for behavior, and actually believe the dang lies. I believe it's demonic. The devil rents a room free in their head!

As someone living with BPD I find this a bit offensive. Just because your daughter hasn't made progress with her disorder doesn't others like us can't. I've made IMMENSE progress thanks to cognitive behavioral therapy. Stop contributing to the stigma surrounding Personality Disorders and educate yourself please.

I’ve already noticed ah has a hero complex. Multiple times she said maybe he would come to her someday and thank her for saving his life and I think the story about the kids on the island, she said something similar. Like I said multiple times.
And she tries to portray herself as this meek little wife but the audio recordings show a very different side to her. She’s got nothing except bullshit on her side.

I just got out of a relationship similar to this, without the physical violence....still, it's ROUGH. No one talks about how the abused can at times appear to have the symptoms of the personality disorder their abuser has, and I believe it's because after so much berating, one would come to "understand" that that type of behavior was the only way to be "heard" by the abuser....oof.
I do however believe Johnny is innocent only because abuse is a history and he has no history of abuse in any other woman unless there’s something I don’t know of 🤷🏼♀️

I was once in a relationship with someone like this, no defamation case needed but a restraining order did happen... on her. When the case came around, she tried using the argument of me punching holes in walls and doors as a means of my anger towards her while I was using inanimate objects to relieve the stress caused by her as she hid my work boots, slap me in my sleep and claim I elbowed her, hide my car keys for no apparent reason. The psychological trauma had come to an end when she destroyed my laptop and she had scratched my face. I called the cops, they came and pulled me aside. They got both our stories and the first cop talking to me was like "I can see the markings all over you, we can pull her in for attacking you but then that means we gotta pull you in to process the claims. Just go to court and file a restraining order so she doesn't get released in 24 hours and ends up back with you in the house." I took him up on it and found a way to file for free with a 3 year restraining order. She was, by far, the most psychotic person I had ever met.

Manipulate every conversation n twist all my words.
