We live about 2 miles away from that fire and I hike up there during the winter our firefighters are amazing thank you.Nice footage
I was there! Super cool you got this footage so I can show wifey! Prison hill!
I hope Carson city Nevada doesn't burn to the ground because there is history there in that town.
13:07 That is a really rare shot of Ranchos Utility 1! Love it! Great shots!
God bless all the fire fighters !!! They have one of the toughest jobs that there is out there !!! 💯🇺🇸🦅🗽⚔️🔥🔥
Thank you for the video 🇺🇸👍
Respect for all FF 💪👏
Thank you Carson City FD .. Our everyday heroes of our community. Aloha & Mahalo
Awesome footage as always! Nice to see (and hear) a K-Max, for a change!
Yeah I live right here in town and watched this from the North end. Really great footage sir!
Awesome video! Love the GMC at 13:09 and the brush truck at 13:25
Stay Safe, May mother nature protect all firefighters, blessings
:)
Great catches!
Stay safe and thank you for your service
I live in Gardnerville and at 0:54 the fire in the distance on the right it about less than 20 miles I’d say so the smoke here is so bad like instead of nice normal sun light it’s reddish orange and there is no blue sky. Stay safe everyone!
that was a really cool looking Double Bladed Helicopter that was doing that bucket drops.....
Great footage
We’ve had some weeeeeird weather this last week, that day 4 or 5 dry lightening strikes happened across Reno and Carson. Stretched resources really thin
I saw some big ole bolts too. Aloha My fellow community
Great video thanks
Damn they have a real need for Air Tankers over there it’s a shame they don’t have a good aviation program like CA
Well, all the taxes that Californians pay, buys that aircraft
@@CaptainRon13 you dont know how effective those planes are otherwise whole California would burn down if they don't have those planes
I don't know where you get your misinformation but there has been a huge DC-10 tanker, low and slow, repeatedly over my house for two days (Fri/Sat). I'm just south of Carson City. It was clearly showed (viewer submitted still photo) on the Reno TV news.
@@trimule weird didn’t see that at all in this video. And what I mean is the washoe county area would benefit greatly from dedicated IA tankers that respond to local jurisdictions fires not just hoping to get help from the Fed tankers that may or may not be available
The governor bought 2 private Jets for himself
Instead of hth firefighters Arial attack vehicles
They better invest in some bigger shit than that little helcopter
Great catches. Interesting to see that some of the engines look very similar to ones in California.
Fun fact, the Reno Tahoe area of Nevada is fully intergrated into Cal-OES and can be seen regularly as part of XTB (Tahoe basin) strike teams
@@AdamWennhold Wow!!! That's pretty cool if you ask me.
Adam Wennhold, that's very interesting.
Likes good job
Rather than waiting for the wildfires to arrive near or next to the roads so you may use effectively your wheeled vehicles........it's great time to split to tracked vehicles !!
I blame Mixup98 for this. Him and his horse head.
XD
Hope everyone is alright!
Awesome🤗
No fixed wings?
I was there at the beginning of the fire and at the end of it
if you dont mind me asking, unless I missed it, except for the helicopters, really didnt see anything in the way of those fire planes, sure could have used a couople of these to help fight these fires, any reason whey thy didnt use one of those fireplanes by chance?
It is wonder they haven’t figure out away to airlift the fights into the fire instead using their energy’s to wall to fire zone.
I watched the whole fire here in Carson City. Not good to see.
I have photos from my house. They had trouble getting up there.
Water drops are from too high , wind is dispersing the drops before hitting the targets
U would think they would have something similar to California arsenal
Siller Bros sky crane wasting water from too high
Someone needs to reach out to a mining company, get a Cat 777 water tanker.
Those aren’t big fires
Those were the first outbreak areas. One is now 11000 acres and another (south of Minden) is also over 1100 acres.
Too bad the Governor had to buy 2 very expensive jets instead of more aerial planes and helicopters for times like this.
Well politicians think the tax payers owe him that $|-|¡+. That is robbery in my opinion. They can fly coach like the rest of us that actually work
Too big a govt, too small a people, our gov is a,well we all know,no profanity needed
