Chicago sweeper and primal knife are crucial to get S+ Rank on Professional fresh run and earn the cat ears.
You can’t get the cat ears using bonus weapons.
@@MankindDusted I'm afraid you're wrong. You can access bonus weapons on a fresh save, and you can also get s+ with them. As long as its done on a new game, you may use any weapon, except the rocket launcher, which can only be earned on NG+. So, yes, You can achieve S+Rank on Professional using unlimited Chicago Sweeper and Primal knife in no more than 5:30 with no more than 15 saves.

@@MankindDustedno that's the hand cannon that you can't get using extra weapons but for that just use the cat years in a fresh save and use only magnums once they are available of course but either way just use the most powerful weapon available to you so that would be shotguns and then Magnum
Easy! Just beat the game twice to unlock unlimited rocket launcher for 1.6-2million, then beat it again! 😂

I've managed to make it through Hardcore just in time for the A rank. Ashley's armor should make things easier. I'm not gonna waste time on getting any optional treasures this time. I'm just gonna run as fast as I can. Got two infinite weapons and plenty of first aid. The only thing I'm worried about is Del Lago. It's a pain in my ass. Died 3 times to it on hardcore. I'm afraid it'll hurt my timing.
That guy pissed me off so bad. The key is the timing of steering the boat to the side when he doubles back at you with his mouth open. Once I figured that out he does no damage, 👍🏻
Hitting del Lago in the mouth does 90 damage while hitting him in the body does 60.
De lago easiest one imo
You can avoid hurting your timing by going to the main menu and loading the game on your last save instead of hitting continue that works best I did it without infinite weapons I just started the game with access ammo ran passed most of the zombies and kept a lot of first aid sprays on me and picked up as much amma gun powder and resource bundles i could find I did it with the punisher handgun the riot gun and LE5 machine gun and some flash bangs and some granades
idk, It was ez for me, even on professional
The only pain in the ass may be krauser
DON'T forget to UNLOCK it on the EXTRA CONTENT menu BEFORE you start the rerun.✌🏾

It’s even easier now. Unlock the Handcannon through mercenaries mode. Go ahead and easily get an A rank, or even an S+ rank in your first professional run.
To make it even easier, unlock handcannon through mercenaries, s+ in hardcore so you can get the chicken hat and Ashley’s armor. Now there is zero excuse for you not to get S+ in professional (as long as you’re in new game and not new game+)
Yea, it sounds easy but what about the handcannon ammo? Those are so rare to find that it will backfire on you if you're only using the handcannon

thats honestly how i feel about the cat ears. beating pro mode is not the issue, its having to do it with a new game in under 5 and a half hours with less than 15 saves that is a massive pain in the ass and makes the game more tedious than fun bc you are basically just trying to run past enemies as much as possible and when you first start a new game your weapons are SO piss weak that unless you buy the dlc upgrade tickets you are going to waste alot of time running out of ammo and running around enemies bc your handcannon and sweeper wont even last past the first village fight

Once you get the infinite weapon kicks in then the run feels like it's much more possible.
and as of today you can no longer do the skips that people have been using to do the S+ really fast/easily

Have the infinite launcher on NG+ on professional now just need to figure out the not dieing part fighting the Lake boss. I can’t predict his leaping attack and my boat takes too much damage. I swear on the easier difficulties the boat would automatically evade those attacks. Adding to frustration is auto saves being disabled have to run back from the closest save station and refuel the fucking boat every time I fail.
IDK how, but after 3 attempts, my son took over, and beat it in 1 go, with very minimal effort. Idk how, cuz it was that quick. Something about when it tries to swallow you...
hold right when the boss battle begins you’ll b able to get 6-8 free hits, as he goes under the first time to jump move left and hit his mouth for heavy damage, prob take 2-3 cycles but you’ll get the hang of it
This is always my most frustrating part of the game on higher difficulties.
Just always keep a direction and he won't hit you when he leaps.Always hold right for ewample and only switch to left when you have to avoid objects in the lake.He will always miss you and pass by your left without touching you.
???? I hear everyone having trouble with del lago on professional and hardcore difficulty. I played the original at least 100 time and currently on my 4th playthrough in the remake. Its the easiest boss in the game, just tilt the boat around to avoid the floating logs, and spear the shit out of him and you should be good.

You can save as many times you want! Only the S+ rank is limited by how many times you save, so you can even get the S rank.

I thought on professional difficulty, there's only limited times you can save besides auto-saves being disabled.

That is only for the S+ rank, both A and S ranks are not affected by the amount of times you can save.

I just completed Hardcore in around 3 hours and I struggled during the the Del Lago fight and the Mine Cart section. I'm playing on console and the aiming just isn't as smooth as PC. Without auto-save, it's a nightmare if I have to restart the whole cart segment if I die at the second part. Any tips?
I would say shooting the chainsaw man's cart is better and way faster for getting rid of him. Easier to hit too.

It's not that hard to do to be honest. As long as you bypass most of the things, save your money for the infinite launcher and try to unlock the handcannon in mercenaries as a bonus. Found myself needing the handcannon briefly for the castle section then unlocked the infinite launcher by selling my other guns (sometimes that's what you gotta do to get the better weapons). But yeah save the money and sell your weapons for the infinite launcher to cruise through professional mode. No need to wear goofy add ons.
But the goofy add ons make it ten times funnier

Yes. You don't need to get an s+ rank to get the Chicago sweeper, just an A rank on professional is enough.

How are you going to get the Sweeper when other videos say that you can't go back through a NG+ with your loadout you just finished with. If that's the case, then you can't have the sniper rifle yet.

There’s 2 achievements
Leon “S+” Kennedy and Professional Agent
Leon S+: this achievement gets you Cat ears which gives you cat ears(infinite ammo), what you need.
-15 saves or less
-Brand New save file
-5hrs and 30mins or less
-Bonus Weapons are usable(Chicago, primal knife, Handcannon)
Professional Agent: Unlocks the handcannon, what you need
-Complete the game on professional without any bonus weapons
-Brand New Save File
Handcannon can now also be unlocked by playing Mecenaries and getting S rank on all 3 maps.

I hate myself I just beat the game for the 4th time but this time went to hard-core bc someone told me on hardcore the Chicago sweeper and Ashley's armor will be revieced if I beat it with an a or higher so I beat it and only got Ashley's armor😢 now I gotta replay it on professional😭

Bonus weapons do not affect unlocking the Chicago Sweeper! I used the primal knife during the run and still unlocked the weapon.

I can handle dying many times. I've finiahed evil within's hardest difficulty and it tooks me months! Also finished og re4 professional mode and died many times. I can't even count it, what i can't handle is that damn time limit. Why di they have to do that. 😭

Yes, the Chicago Sweeper can be finished in any New Game Plus, so you start a new run on your just finished Professional save and try again.
So to get the hand cannon and the tommy gun you have to beat the game on professional with an s rank with no new game plus but they give you the infinite rpg as soon as you beat the game on any difficulty makes literally no sense what so ever 💀

Yes sir I just did pro mode today and got the s rank under 4+ hrs but the toughest part is the jet sky escape 1 hit your half dead 2 your gonna start back to last save.

I purchased it, but when I played the game it didn’t show up in my inventory. Did I do something wrong?
It will be on the storage, at a save station (type writer machine).
1. Beat the game on PRO in less than 7 hours.
2. Purchase the sweeper in the extra content shop for 1000cp
3. It will show up in the "storage" tab at any typewriter.

Or how about just letting people beat the game normally instead of locking it behind some ridiculous challenge

Yes! Only the Handcannon doesn't allow bonus weapons
yup, you can use a ng+ for it. Personally i played through on assisted the first time to unlock the primal knife, max upgrade my fav weapons, and farm alot of money, heals, and spinels. Then, i unlocked the HC in merc mode, started a NG+ on hardcore, sold everything, unlocked the punisher so i had a basic handgun and used an exclusive ticket immediately to give the hc inf ammo fire rate. From there i just kept one box of handgun ammo (for locks, treasures, medalions etc) and sold all the gunpowder, ammo etc i came across and around chpt 4 i had enough to buy the inf launcher which basically allows you to skip every boss that isnt del lago. From there it was basically running through the chapters to get ashleys armor ( hardcore a rank). Once you have all that and a case full of first aid sprays, and you dont have to worry about doing side requests or hunting down treasure or figuring out puzzels or where you are going , getting pro rank and unlocking the sweeper is basically just 4 hours to run through the levels.

Rank A is required less than 10 hours? It will need a lot money to buy i-rocket. My first playtrhough just had 1 M money with 50% sub quest/achievement
S rank all meecaniers stages, get Handcannon and when going into a new run on ng+ do every request till u get an exclusive upgrade ticket then get infinite ammo for it

@@jammiedonut6934 handcannon is a bonus weapon. I watch some s+ guide, in flash, they told to not use any of bonus weapon
Step 1: safe before saddler
Step 2: Die to saddler
Step 3: Set your game to assisted
Step 4: sell everything but the normal rocket launcher and the beetle charm if you have it.
Step 5: buy infinite first aids
Step 6: Start new game+ and survive to the first merchant (not far)
Step 7: buy i-rocket launcher and whatever your heart desires
It's stuck in my storage I don't know how to get it out I really need someone's help pls

as of yesterday they patched the skips. so you can't do it so easily anymore. so i guess fuck the rest of us who didn't have the time to commit to the game off the rip
While the scope glitch was fixed, you can still use the infinite rocket launcher in the run. The time in the video (2:37:57) didn't use any skip or glitches for example, and you only need the A rank for the sweeper (under 7 hours)
You should have disconnected your wifi or ethernet cable lol. That'd what I did. Been playing for 2 days now trying to unlocked everything before I hook it back up. Does not say update or anything as of today, this is on ps5
