The truth is most people are good, so back to my question of sleepovers. If you’re older and have children have you ever let them go on a sleepover? If we follow the logic based on the comments, you would not ever let them go because what if the dad, the mom , uncle or even the friends themselves, etc abused your chid.
I know it’s hard to discern who’s good and who’s not. But for very concern parents a good way to go about this is by establishing ground rules in your own family. For example: all sleepovers are only at our house or you can stay over a friebd’s house until midnight only etc

That list is kinda narrow. When I was a kid it was pretty common to stay with your parents friends if your parents were going out of town even if you weren't related to them.
