There is an Instagram Pau cam reel of her practicing the insane drumming for this song - it’s absolutely mesmerizing! The French: “I will always love you, my heart is yours, I hate you, I don’t lie, I adore you.”
You just miss a little part, right after “I hate you” it says “love of my life” and then the rest.
In Dany’s own words, this is about a Love/Hate relationship. As others have said, Pau took the inspiration from a very short scene in the animated movie, Ratatouille. A couple is on the verge of killing each other when suddenly they passionately embrace. My take is that they’re talking about the fact that both emotions are powerful and intertwined. But only they know.
Those soaring vocals by Dany and the end with those sweet harmonies by Pau and Ale send shivers down my spine every time. Great song.
Yep. Spanish is their first language, but they also sing in English, French, Japanese, and Binary.

Inspired by about 15 seconds in the animated film Ratatouille as the rat is passing over an apartment and hears an argument followed by a shot. When he looks he sees the couple embracing and making up. Pau can grab inspiration from anything.

Pau's inspiration came from a brief scene from a cartoon movie (Ratatouille) where you can see a couple arguing and seconds later kissing each other.😂
Before switching to home schooling they attended a catholic girls school that used 3 languages. One being French.

Paulina wrote this song after watching movie Ratatouille. There is a scene where a couple is arguing then suddenly stop, look at each other, then immediately make up and start kissing.
The tribal you speak of is Pau playing her 16” and 18” floor toms . Most drummers only have one floor Tom but Pau loves her floor toms!

Yeah - both Ale and Dany have guitars with LEDs on the top of the neck. (Just a few of Dany's) They come in handy when the lights are out. Another cool thing is that Ale's bass neck has an inlaid mother of pearl "The Warning" lightning bolt. The finish on her Spector was custom made for her and Spector now offers it on some models, as "Ale's Inferno". 🙂

As proof that inspiration can come from anywhere, this was prompted by a 30 second snippet from Ratatouille. First the couple are arguing, then moments later they are embracing. Love/Hate relationship. Yes they also know French but they are modest and claim they don't remember much. But it's probably 100 times more than me.
The lives are next level. Honestly since they’ve released the Teatro concert vids, the only music videos I watch anymore is “More” and XXI Century Blood”. “More” because it wasn’t written before this concert. XXICB because the video is a pure masterpiece. You do you man.

Hey Dirty Dude! This song was inspired by a short 5-10 second scene from the animated movie Ratatouille. It's about a love/hate relationship between two people. As for the glowing frets, it's actually a stick on LED strip Ale first got and put on the top of her neck so she knew where the frets are in the dark. Then Dany started using them on her guitars more recently. They look really cool!
They both have LED fret boards . They always have .
Yeah Dany's always a heartbreaker but when she starts singing in French, I just lose it, like Gomez Adams when Morticia starts speaking French hehe... I just melts...
I've heard Pau got the inspiration for this song from one scene from Disney's Ratatouille. At the beginning of the movie we see Ratatouille run over the rooftops of Paris and look down through a hole in a window. There is a couple arguing and fighting and then fall into each other's arm and kiss passionately. It is about a love/hate relationship.

I'm told that education in Mexico includes Spanish, English and French. Of course, how much any individual learns and retains varies. Dany's pronunciation of French is very good.

Awesome reaction, they all do have a basic understanding of French as they were taught it in school, but unlike Spanish and English that they speak regularly, they are not fluent. The LED fret markers are from a company called Fret FX. Keep The Warning coming!

It's funny - this is my _least_ favorite tune of theirs. I'll even admit to teetering on the edge of _hating_ it. But not for any *musical* reasons; merely because I despise the sort of toxic relationships it describes. Nevertheless, it's an absolutely *masterful* piece of musical craftsmanship. How about that - even when _The Warning_ creates a song I despise... I still love it. That's just the sort of group they are. And that's precisely why they are amazing... 😋
@@MrJest2 I was pretty indifferent about it at first but now I love it mainly because when it breaks, and then Dany comes in with "would you die for me?", it drops really fucking hard. Gives me shivers sometimes. It's too impactful for me to ignore.
Amour means Love in French, so yes this is a love song, but the inspiration was from a scene in an animated film. As to your concert reaction coming up, I would stop with the reactions from this concert footage for individual songs or else there will be no reaction by you for the premier of the concert as you will know all the songs. The film is ratatouille, it was the inspiration for PAU to write the song, that's why the verse in French

@nathanriggs1125 1. They have put a lot of time, money, and effort into making them for our entertainment, not for theirs. 2. Become familiar with the lyrics so you can watch the concert without trying to make out the lyrics. Dirty 10 did just that. Pulled up the lyrics because he wasn't really paying attention to them and in concert the lyrics may not be obvious in the mix. 3. So you can sing along if you want
