- We have a misconception that investing in Mutual Fund is difficult for beginners in India. This video is a beginner guide for mutual funds investments. Anyone can start investing in mutual funds through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan ) with minimum 500 Rs per month. In today's video we will be discussing How to Select Best Mutual Funds, specifically for beginners. We all want our investments to give good returns and grow fast. And in this endeavour we tend to look for the best mutual funds while investing. So in this video we will tell you that how a layman also can select the best mutual funds. Mutual Fund is a kind of professionally managed investment that uses money from investors to invest in stocks, bonds, or other types of investment. A fund manager (or “portfolio manager”) decides how to invest the money.
There are over three dozen mutual fund categories defined by SEBI, and it can get very confusing when it comes to picking where to invest. But you don't need to know all types of mutual funds. I have already explained all the important mutual fund categories a Mutual Fund investor should know. From low-risk debt funds to ELSS to high-risk equity funds. I have tried to cover the entire range of mutual funds in India in a single video using non-commercial terms so that every beginner even layman can understand it easily. Yes, it is risky. I don't have any faith on any third party application like Grow as because they are not regulated. It may create future problems. It is completely my personal opinion.

Yes, you can, but not for all funds. Further, it will not be a ideal thing for investment. You should ideally invest in SIP in regular intervals.

You can invest in those funds which offer or allow lump sum investment of rupees 500 or 1000 like Nippon India. Further you can do SIP in any fund and maintain balance in the mapped sb account as per your requirement. For example, If you do not want to invest in a particular month, then you should maintain below Rs. 1000/500 as applicable in the mapped sb account during the scheduled date of deduction or investment.
