- The Pannier Rambler hauled by Pannier Tanks 7752 + 9600 are seen at Danzey on route to Stratford-Upon-Avon. We then see them climbing through Wilmcote Station on route to Worcester Shrub Hill. After a watering stop at Tyseley the pair are seen passing through Birmingham Snow Hill station. They are next seen at Droitwich Spa and finally at Birmingham New Street near to journey's end.
Once again John, you've made an excellent job of capturing these two locos out on the main line...I think it's marvelous to see them at such speeds ..... quite superb throughout....Bob
Thoroughly enjoyable watching John, with some nice original touches. Alan
Great film John, these little locos certainly put on an entertaining show. Thank you for sharing. Regards Dale
Wonderful John A superb set of clips of these tow little masters doing a great job. Barry
Super clips there John, I enjoyed watching them all but I think my favourites were the two Birmingham clips. It's a bit different to see steam in the city like that and I think it worked very well indeed! What great little locos. Thanks for filming and sharing, Tim
Excellent John. Very enjoyable. They certainly put on a show. Loved the last shot of them in the dark. Great stuff. All the best....Tim.
A superb video John, great locations also, Droitwich was a typical Western scene with the semaphore signals as a backdrop, excellent, well done thanks for sharing, it's a like, cheers...Bill
Very nice footage. Very well presented engines. I saw the LT loco at Tyseley last year and it was in superb condition.
Keep up the good work.
Great stuff great to see two Pannier Tanks out together on a railtour.
Amazing footage of the little beasts, liked the New St whistles !
Excellent John , you covered there day out very well at well thought out locations .
Good record of the day John, well filmed at good locations, great whistling at New Street!
Lovely stuff as usual John, very enjoyable & a busy day but Panniers in New Street.... sacrilege!!
Would not have happened back in the 'good old days' ...... :-) Regards, Brian.
You got some great shots in there John... really enjoyed it. The drivers worked very well with great cooperation! This would be a steam tour that I would love to go on.
Also loved the last shot....great whistling and counter whistling.......…☁☁☁☁☁⁘⁙⁙……Hᴜɢʜ….TU…..ツ
Plenty of action there John, great stuff. Wouldn't mind seeing them over the S&C - we can but dream, LOL
Mike
I can appreciate that John & it was worth it, as for the future that's quite debatable but if it becomes even more 'closed' than it is, they still need good extraction for the filthy diesel fumes but if they don't ban steam completely I imagine they might only allow 'drag troughs' at best. cannot imagine they would want 'soot' all over that new atrium glass somehow!! Regards, Brian.
Excellent coverage john and great to see the pair in new street , your first shots are the best especially at Wilmcote where they really got going !! So a good day in all welsh marches next ??
