Blitzwing is a curious sort with kibble. I feel he kinda needs it, as it matches his brash personality. He's not hiding or anything, he's just packing more ways to whup people and you seeing him coming is a chance to freak out their targets. More a "Oy, I'm gonna getcha!" than anything else. Both modes being a bit messy but imposingly brutal feels right, and to make a wee bot like that feel like a tough is a feat until itself.
I find that Blitzwing is one of the most interesting triple changers, having to go from a sleek jet (although most Blitzwing jets are chunky) to a compact tank, and then to a blocky robot
They did a black repaint of this that looks great. I bought it so I could pose one of these with the bonus Animated inspired head this figure comes with
This is another fun guy the posing in robot is limited is annoying but the vehicles make up for it I love flipping between the tank and jet mode. There’s the black/purple repaint I might get that if it’s for a good price, it’s not the green/grey diaclone it might be a shattered glass representation idk it looks nice with the colours and the blue visor pops
Might just be one of my top 10 legends figures, he's just hand candy... was meant to go in my display when I got him 3 years ago but he's never left my desk!
I got the TR Blitzwing about a year ago and I love him so much. I really wish the legacy figure had sort of Studio Series Blurr’d it and just updated that figure to remove the headmaster and increase the articulation. They could have used Kingdom Cyclonus legs, though the waist probably would have taken a bit more creativity to reengineer given the importance of the struts that move the arms for the transformation. Still I’m sure Mark and the gang could have cooked up something great along those lines 😊
1:45 ish, I think he tank rotation works for Blitzwing as it ends up on his back. A lot tend to do it where it becomes the arms like Megatron, and at that scale, but hard to do turret rotation. Not impossible, but difficult
Huh. That Iron Factory Blitzwing looks like a bad Sixshot KO...in jet mode. Tank mode looks like a bad Overlord Gigatank KO. At least MFT ain't have to do up a 2.0 version like they did with their Springer...
So would you recommend this for someone who doesn't really care about animation accuracy but wants something that is similar to the idea of the G1 toy but with a bit more tactile complexity and molded detail?
He's good, but it's kinda embarrassing that the TR/LG mold is still leading the pack for non-MP Blitzwings. The tank is a box with a gun on top and the MiG-25 is a box with wings, how is this an equation that only the budget-crunched headmaster that's 50% Megatron could resolve in a way where both alts look good and the robot works as well as the manufacturer could afford at the time?

I wud love it if Newage made a blitzwing

I love the legacy version, just for his toyetic charm, handfeel and transformation. But the legends jet mode just blew me away and now im sad

Is Poison going to make an appearance on the channel?
"the iron factory has issues"
I thoght it was thrilling 30 the whole time

Huh, I thought you would hate Legacy Blitzwing due to the cartoon accuracy to a fault in the tank mode and the excessive kibble in the jet mode.
A common misconception.
I actually made a short on it because I kept having to explain it: ua-cam.com/users/shortsspmuCwwt_uk?si=7B70-BilH-H2V1oG
Their 1st one was springer
I have their first version of springer. I even covered it in like the first or second season of this marathon
Ok so I’m guessing Springer is next
He said trio, so probably Octane.

Soft recommend, only because it's the only legends blitzwing that's out at the moment.
Someone will eventually make a better one
