Nice video! Could you make a video mythbusting the little micro-arguments for flying the airplane? Ones that come to my mind are: 1. When should the APU START PB be pressed, is it right after pushing the APU MASTER PB or when FLAP OPEN is displayed on the lower ECAM?. and 2. Which order should we select the IR switches to NAV, 1-2-3 or 1-3-2?

Hi Jusiun, I may cover those in future, but here are the answers:
      1. APU START pb wont do anything until the ECB (electronic control box. basically the computer that controls the APU) is powered up and completes a self test. This takes around 3 seconds after the APU MASTER pb-sw is set ON. So you can press the APU START pb any time after that has happened. The ECB will not initiate the start sequence until it has opened the flap so there is no need to wait until “FLAP OPEN”.
      2. IR mode selectors are always switched ON and OFF in the 1,2,3 order (NOT left to right). This reduces the chance of inadvertently switching off the incorrect IR in non-normal procedures.

Great video! You’ve quite literally explained as much as possible in a clear way!
Question. On the ground, when would you usually turn on the APU? Like, would you get the APU fired up before passengers board or moments before pushback?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi mate, glad you got something out of the video.
We turn the APU on when it gets hot in the cabin (around 24 C) just for passenger comfort. If its staying cool then just before pushback to save the fuel.
      Hope this helps
