Remove your earphones, and let them play. That drives up the cost for the advertiser, at least ; ) It may even get the channel more money, who knows? I *certainly* wouldn't reward youtube for such bad behavior by paying to have them removed.
I prefer to pay approx $aud16 a month to have no ads plus can download as much content as I like to listen to offline. Much better offer than audible which is one book a month for the same price. 👍
