She played a smart game and not an overpowering, hitting with all your might strategy. She did not over hit the balls, just the right amount of energy for placement. She made sure the balls go over the net by floating three feet over the net and land in a zone near the lines. She said she was not seated and therefore not under pressure and sure enough she took her time to watch her opponent movement before striking the ball. She drilled with top players such as Andy Murray for each angle shot , over and over to perfection. She hit the ball landing right in front of her opponent who could not decide whether to return with a forehand or backhand -- hand cuffing her opponent. She readjusted her stance, her feet at the last second to hit a solid cross court or down the line. I bet she would go the distance because of quick thinking and fast reaction and not a pattern that other coaches can observe from video tapes.
The best interview I have seen on the BBC in recent years, all very positive, the first bit of news thats delivered in a positive light or whatever way you want to describe it.

Sakkari, for example, was executing some pretty overwhelming shots in the first 2 or 3 games. But Emma didn't care. She carried on pushing and pushing, until she established herself as the commander of the match, and then Sakkari's game just fell apart. She was making "unforced" errors which were, in reality, forced on her by Emma's intensity. Emma's weight of shot was just invincible. Thanks to Naomi for staying up to give her expert opinion in the early hours of the morning!
I like Naomi Broady. Her commentaries are hilarious at times. She came back in the commentary booth half cut with a load of booze after Emma won. She's a very funny woman and obviously very beautiful.

You can repeat 100% that she is British but she is British by convenience. At the end she will come back to her real roots that is China and Romania.
