That line from Stan Lee hit extra hard when this movie first came out. It was the first cameo after he passed. “I’m going to miss him…”
Fun Fact: NONE of the variant Spider-People were created specifically for this film, they had all existed for years beforehand.

@@IDKTBH209 Yeah. There was a massive Spiderman multiverse comic book series about 9/10 years ago. Different artists doing the artwork in each comic. It was turned into book form. Great read!

This universe is different than ours. If you notice the police cars, they say "PDNY" and there are other small, subtle differences if you look closely enough
Well that’s not really anything to do with the universe. The police are an organization so u can’t just use their name all Willy nilly for copyright purposes.

I really liked the fact they used the coca cola product placement to visually tell us its a different universe. VERY clever product placement that actually works to establish a setting.
One of the best things I've heard about this movie is that, it wasn't that Miles needed a father figure but it was Peter B that needed a son figure
The way Gwen was looking at Peter B. when she said “it’s not your MJ, you gotta move on” made me think she’s been struggling with Peter B. looking so much like her world’s Peter who died
The animators added a slightly lower frame rate for Miles when he was learning his abilities. They smoothed it out once he took the leap of faith to show that he's turned into a full Spider-Man.
In the miles morales game they slowed the frame rate for the costume you acquire. It's freaking awesome
I just realized that Gwen is telling Miles to relax when his hand is sticking to her hair. Just like Peter B Parker told Miles to relax to stop sticking. She gave him some good advice there.
That "what's up danger" first swing is an amazing sequence.
He shatters the glass where his fingertips were sticking because he had to FORCE himself to take the leap. And he didn't QUITE let go of the "Sticky factor".
That shot of showing the city upside down as he falls is incredible - because it shows he's NOT falling - he's RISING into his role as the new Spider-Man!

Great meta reference. So long as he doesn't do the traditional stutter, its legal. If he had done the "bleh-bleep blah-bleep, uh that's all folks" it would have been copyright infringement.
Good thing Warner Bros isn't suing for THAT.

Spiderverse is too good by far. Every beat is delivered perfectly and I'm excited for the sequel to be crazier. Miles is a great example of taking a character beyond its origins for a new generation, and I love that Spiderverse bridges the divide between them with Peter B passing the torch to Miles.

Neat callback to the classic 70's story in the Amazing Spider-Man comics where Doc Ock marries Aunt May...and a sly nod to the fact that Aunt May is voiced by Lily Tomlin who is a lesbian.

The art in this is so cool. Can't wait to see the sequel. It would be nice if Sony would stick to animated Spiderman/Venom etc. movies, especially if the same team works on it.
So, so good. It's crazy how it can be both entirely familiar AND completely new/upredictable at the same time.
This movie is so good. I never cared about miles before. My first thoughts were hes cool... but i already vibe with peter hard. Hes who i would want to be if i had powers. And i saw miles as hero for people of color and i kind of figured id let them have miles. I kept this mentality for a while and again while i thought he was cool he just wasnt my first spider-man.
Then this movie came out. I cried. I cry every time i watch it. Im tearing up now just thinking about how impactful soke of the dialgue in this is and what it means for people of color but not just black people. Miles is mixed Puerto Rican and African American. But the words from his mom... his dad... his uncle... they hit me so hard i fell in love with miles and his family. Yep im legit crying now. I love this movie.

I didn't think I'd like this movie cos it was just so random and all over the place... but it turned out to be really well done... clever, even.

So the scene with Miles falling from the skyscraper when they flipped it was to show him rising to his potential instead of falling into it.

Best part of this movie to me personally is it gave me a reason to acknowledge more than one Spider-Man so there was no feeling off about newer ones compared to what was MY Spider-Man as a kid. I’ve never wanted to watch anything other than what I knew as a kid but this movie not only IS one of those that isn’t what I know , but it does such a good job at making people just like me actually enjoy the idea of multiple.
5:32 So that is the ultimate Green Goblin. The universe of Miles is the Ultimate Universe a modern reimagine of the mainline Earth-616 universe bringing these characters origins into the 2000s along with changing some origins and character designs. Peter B. Parker on the otherhand is from Earth-616 the mainline comic universe that is alot closer to what we are used to such as a Male Doc Ock to a Green Goblin in a suit and slider.

Peter B Parker is the 616 Spider-Man. Meaning he's the main one we're all familiar with, just older.
It's the Ultimate Universe version of Green Goblin.
(At 6:40) I still can't believe l, particularly this guy that's playing Kingpin, is the same guy who played Sabretooth from X-Men origins: Wolverine, and the Storm King from My Little Pony (G4) The Movie. And I STILL can't pronounce his name, much less say it.

(At 20:10) this by far is one of the best scenes from the movie miles coming to terms, the part of the music that says when he jumps off, "Like, What's Up Dan•ger?", and him rising up. I say that because when he jumps off it's parallel. He LOOKS like he's "falling down," but the angle SHOWS he's "rising up".
I love that line. Spider-Man does not wear a cape. That’s disrespectful.

Now, two Venom movies with mid credit scenes & Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy with mid credit scenes.
The scene where miles finds out who prowler is (commenting carefully to avoid spoilers) is unlike any scene I’ve seen in any superhero movie before, and still have yet to since. Everything about that sequence from the music to the animation itself was a GUT PUNCH.
Kind of like in treasure Island. The apple barrel scene.

My favorite movie ever! It's the only movie I've ever seen multiple times in the first two weeks it opened, and the only one I've bought on DVD/Blu-Ray despite not having a player for it, just to support it. (Luckily, it came with a digital redemption, so I have it on UA-cam Movies and Movies Anywhere as well.) I hate that the sequel keeps getting pushed back, but I can't wait until it finally comes out! Honestly, I love these characters so much that I could watch an entire Olivia Octavius movie or Spider-Gwen movie, if these versions were used.
The Prowlers Theme is Miles Hero Theme backwards. That screech that everyone correlates with the Prowler is the same audio as the rising heroic tones in Miles theme, just slowed down and reversed

This is such a feel-good movie which is kinda what a Spiderman movie should be at the end of the day, plus the fact we're getting 2 more Spiderverse movies is just so hype, then its rumoured there's gonna be a 4th one (possibly Tom Holland's 5th or 6th, he's under contract for 3 more movies with Marvel after No Way Home) that's gonna be a live action Spiderverse with all of them, Spidergwen and others, though Sony is developing its own Spiderverse as well which won't be anywhere near as good unless they do the Spider-Verse/Spider-Geddon/Darkest Hours storyline with the Inheritors which they could be setting up through Morbius (the Inheritors are a family of vampires) and Madame Web which is one of the next 3 Sony Spiderman movies coming out, plus Into the Spiderverse is a Sony movie so that could be where they're heading

like this was SHOCKINGLY good. so funny and full of heart. i expected NOTHING from this movie. i thought this was going to be a movie that was going to confirm that i'm now sick and tired of superhero movies.... but HOLY MOLY! just every choice was the right one. unbelievable.
It's been said that the MCU, for example, consists of superhero movies, but Into the SpiderVerse was the first comic book movie. And it's totally true.
Make Miles look more awkward in the beginning of the movie the frames per second were different than Peter Parker‘s. It’s only after he learned to control the electricity that the frames per second matched

VERY INTERESTING DETAIL: Miles Morales' Frames Per-Second in the beginning of the movie iz purposely much slower, but once he gets bit and learns how to use his powers, they gradually upgrade his FPS Rate throughout the movie to catch up to the rest of the spider characterz.
