As a long time Lina spamer I have to say The lower rank you have the lower save items you need I'm about 4 k mmr and literally don't get punished for not buying bkb Linkens is sometimes needed but the main build I go is boot's of travel into aghs n shard and then lens I have to say u can die if they get to you But if you play on max range and vision it's the best build After lens i almost go for kata yasha for a faster combo and dmg and then it's situational
I disagree i hate her being meta shes obnoxious mid and braindead ez to play with it...not as bad as a dirsty last pick huskar or something but equally as boring as shrapnel spamming snipers to lane against. OD ia still king of making lanes boring and annoying of course but still.
OD is much harder to play into lina in higher levels and is a trash tier mid most of the time. If he doesnt have an IO Marci Oracle dazzle omni or some other obnoxious shit supporting him he wont do too much besides saving allies or disrupting enemy initiatons and maybe killing some stragglers if he outplays hard or makes a clutch save. Pretty hard to do right? And OD gets outfarmed, outganked and does less than most meta mids in the long run. He excels at late game cuz he outdmges whole enemy team with 3 big items in inventory and the longer the game goes the stronger he gets... but gl getting your od into the late game vs enemy mid Lina with 2 big items in 22 min flying all over the map and instarotating with travel and oneshotting any high priority target in your team...

She gets %35 magic resist from aghs and another %35 or more from talents. It is BS.
