If you are still confused, then I'll just give a brief description of what I think it means.. Rin and Len both have been rejected by the world, and now are trying to well.. make the pain go away. They are singing this song just to console themselves, and are hating how they are stripped away from their 'tick', and don't like how they've been hurt in the past. I literally listened to like one minute if the song gave up on trying to figure out the meaning of the song never listened to it again but now that you commented I got a notification and I went to see what it was and I was super confused for a second until Rin sang "pain pain go away" and then I was like "oooooohhhhhh!!! I remember now!" But thanks! now I understand it ^3^ btw Rin and Len don't need the world they have each other!! Do you agree?
I think the other commenter is right, but maybe this song talks about self harm and being depressed instead of singing your pain away. Maybe that's why they say that "It's soothing, so it's alright". It could be the mindset of two depressed people who self-harm.
