Also - the Start line is NOT a gate - it's the start line (FAQ Page 7 'Death Race') so the weapons don't become active until after you cross the first gate - which is...of course...not the start. Just an FYI - and I'm now playing this game because of your vids!
Great stuff... loving this game! You guys are having so much fun! Love that your all about the carnage, winning is optional! Your first videos of this inspired me and I've actually played like 7 or 8 games now myself...serious fun! On a game mechanics note, I believe that you automatically wipeout if you hit 6 hazards...you only move the medium if you fail your flip check...you still go to first and spin-out no matter what...was doing that wrong myself lol. Thanks for the inspiration and I'm looking forward to more Car-nage!
You don't do it until the wipeout phase, but you are correct sir....if at the beginning of the wipeout phase you have 6 or more hazards...Blamo - wipeout = -2 Hull Points if you fail the flip test, otherwise you reduce gear to 1, remove all hazard and your opponent can face your car, then carry on to the next step.
Also, one other thing now that i've watched this again - You do ALL attacks for every weapon a car has (keeping track of those that do special things or hit on higher/lower numbers) THEN the opponent takes a SINGLE evade roll to try to mitigate the damage...not, shoot, evade, shoot, evade, shoot last gun, evade again...
They also touch on this in the errata Q: If I am attacked with multiple weapons in an Attack Step, do I roll a separate Evade against each weapon? A: No. From Page 27: “After the attacker has rolled all their attack dice for this attack step and calculated the total number of hits the target is suffering, the target may make a single EVADE attempt.”
Loving Gaslands. Don't you get a Hazard for every gear shift up, though? So if you roll, say, 4 Shifts, and use all of them to up-gear, you should have 4 Hazards after that (3 if you did a manuever that gave you a free Shift and used it to cancel one of those Hazards). At least, that's my reading of it, and I thought I saw Mike comment that was the case in one of these videos... Still, love your battle reports, keep it up!
Fun batrep as usual and Jay! Might want to recheck a few rules tough lol Pretty sure you cannot fire 2 molotovs in one activation. Still. fun game and cannot wait to see more Gaslands it's such a blast to play and watch. Get Owen to finish his dang war rig!
Reading again, I think I misread what you said. You probaly already know this, but played this game days/weeks ago. You also get a hazard for shifting up/down..
Love this game. I believe the swerve needs to be played with the word "swerve" closest to the vehicle. You flip it to change the direction of the turn. If you spin it and use the other end it screws up the location of the slide. The two swerves are the only templates you can't spin because with the all the other templates the swerve notch is dead center.
The rams are active before gate 1, but I don't think he would have gotten the bonus from the ram if he had slammed back. He was getting Tailgated, and his ram is Front mounted.

Hi, FYI you need to take a hazard for every gear change. up or down and also any uncancelled result on the skid dice other than a shift.
3 battle reports in and they're still not even playing with the most basic rules... So painful.
@@Harleqyin and yet so fun to watch

Are you surprised the buggies were wiping-out? Your using Warthogs, the most rollable vehicle Humanity has ever made
one cool thing about the Ram: if you are actively ramming people with it, you don't take hazards for the collision! :D
Now I know...because I needed more reasons to ram people :)
Which is exactly why i built a SLIME performance car with rams left and right. Pinball all day!
I love the games with you and jay you can tell you too are really getting into the games.

Is this true? I have been playing wrong if so.
Yeah, it's true. Page 27, paragraph: Evading a shooting attack.
I didn't catch that one. Rules are specific though. Only one evade attempt per step. So one roll for the entire bunch of attacks.
They also touch on this in the errata
Q: If I am attacked with multiple weapons in
an Attack Step, do I roll a separate
Evade against each weapon?
A: No. From Page 27:
“After the attacker has rolled all their attack
dice for this attack step and calculated the total
number of hits the target is suffering, the target
may make a single EVADE attempt.”
I don't understand any of the references, but I still find this absolutely hilarious.

D. Anthony Robinson I noticed the rule disconnect here as well. Ignoring the shift up/down hazards makes the game much less chaotic.
i freakin love this channel
I love the chemistry between yall, this was very entertaining!
WITNESS!
Witness him!

It's a Blitz weapon, so you can assign multiple crew to it.
Another great video . The start line isn't the 1st gate though.
gstealer11 it can be if they set it up that way, but it makes far far far shorter games
Also this is a super common mistake, as the rulebook diagram for gates has the starting line erroneously labeled gate 1. :)
Guerrilla Miniature Games the diagram in the book is wrong, it was updated in the FAQ, just a few days ago.

Yesssss! Thank you for another gaslands video.
New Gaslands batrep and errata/faq update? Coincidence or conspiracy? Either way, pure win. Really want to see the war-rig in action.
"Can you FLY Bobby?!"
WELL CAN YOU?!
Yeah boiiiiiiii. ACCEPTABLE!!
Yes More awesomeness
Wow this mat is really nice too, where did you guys get this one? Thank you again.
I missed jay.
Jay missed playing games
still waiting for my rules, I can't take it anymore!! ;) So, did you ever make it to the last gate? :D
The last gate is the entrance to Valhalla :)
lol, I quess :D
Witness me, senpai!
Is your ram active before gate 1? Could he have slammed back at 3 dice?
The rams are active before gate 1, but I don't think he would have gotten the bonus from the ram if he had slammed back. He was getting Tailgated, and his ram is Front mounted.
WITNESS ME!
NITROOOOO ARGGGGAAAA BOOM!
What size boards are you using for these games? 4'x4'?
yup!
Awesome, thanks! I just picked up the book and managed to talk some others into it as well. Alas, no one lives near anyone else, but still...
I️ love this it’s so awesome
:D Hilarious!
These guys got so many rules wrong on one of the EASIEST table top war games I have ever seen.......
