In this play, China is playing a super calculated moves, applying all playing techniques and playing like Japanese coz they know they are dealing with a defensive team. Japan is forcing Chinese players to hit more balls before it reached the ground.
Honestly, japan's defense is superb. If only they had hard hitting players like Zhu Ting, Yan Ni or Yuan.... They'll probably be in the same level as China & USA

China had the height advantage...both have incredible defense but the height hit over the blocks and blocked well making the Japanese spikes a little less damaging and a bit easier to dig...didn't make it easy..just easier
