I was blown away by the loudness and clarity of PX8 playing 24bits FLAC files through USB-C on iPhone. It’s close to wired P7. I own H95s as well and for some reason, the volume is lowered significantly when plugged in via USB-C on iPhone but normal on a PC.
good review again. You think there are better than the PX7 S2. I was very close to buying that.

@@TechKnowBiz absolutely love it. You know I have used B&O H95, Focal Bathys, Edifier Stax Spirit S3 and MW75. For my taste, MW75 is the best. Great set of cans. I got it for 30% off in the US and at $420 USD. It's amazing for the usual $599 price tag but for the price I paid it's an absolute no brainer. This is staying buddy. No wonder Flossy Carter loves these. Apart from him I don't see very many UA-cam reviews on this.
@@electrology that is a very good price you got them for man. Very lucky. I have reached out to delaers here and all they can say is Master and Dynamics are having isues with supply chain or something. The only MW75 available in Australia is the Leica 0.95 limited edition headphones. which goes for almost AUD 1000. BUt anyways, it is on my things to do. I will get them in the studio soon.
The MW75 is poor. I had them and theyre miles from px8 and Bathys, even momentum 4 are better by a good margin. I took them to convincemeaudios house (reviewer) and he agreed.
The pi7 s2's are actually out, and I want to know if they ahce improved from the pi7's

Good review bro. For looks I think the mcclaren look better. By the way, most reviews fail to mention codec support. Its unfortunate the PX8 dont support LDAC which can do 32bit streaming. Bad news IF you own Samsung phones. They dont support Aptx HD nor adaptive, only the old classic aptx. Ironically they support LDAC. Believe me you dont need audiophile ears to tell the difference between 16 to even only 24bits or higher. Personally I also own Px8, I'm a little disappointed, because at this price range they should support all codecs available.
Yeah it was a hard choice for me between this one and the McLaren one. But ended up with 007 as I already have a McLaren branded Klipsch earbud. And on the LDAC codec support though, I have tested 3 high end headphones recently, the H95, focal bathys and the PX8, but nobody supports LDAC. so it is a little disappointing
@@TechKnowBiz what piss me off though its ok not to have LDAC because the aptx HD and adaptive is good enough at 24bits but bloody Samsung. I have the snapdragon version but Samsung seem to remove the HD and adaptive version and stick the old classic aptx which is only 16bit. Its just no brainer for Samsung to keep sony LDAC but refuse to pay royalty to qualcomm for the higher quality aptx. Yet their flagship phones are so damn pricey. I am really NOT happy with this so called higher end goods charge premium and yet not giving us complete package.
Can that be added with a software update ?
@jrighteous1984 not without rooting the phone. Rooting the Samsung phone is a complex and dangerous way for most common users. You may even brick the phone.
